Interesting point. Which clubs voted for it? I've only ever read frustration about it on our part from the coaching side.
It's a shame it's come to this, because you can see how both parties would be dissatisfied with the arrangement. I can understand Miller being upset after Donny losing the game, but a public spat between the two coaches is unfortunate. Both are right. It's the system that's at fault. |

That is a load of tripe - or at least it is if can pull together and hold firm.
The new BoD have put property on the line to save us and we intend to back that commitment and do all we can to ensure that this club can get through this AND make the 12 next year.

You may be correct, I can only remember, at the moment Wakefield got Andy Mason, Phil Fox, Mark Conway, and Keith Rayne, and Leeds got Gary Spencer and John Lyons
But the name Phil Hassain (sp) seems to stick in my mind - I don't know why

Your right in the first respect, it was 4 for 2 with those players involved then we got Gary Spencer back a year or so later. Phil Hassan played for Wakefield in 2002!! |

12 years . wish I had your confidence fella. If effort was rewarded you would probably be chairman mate but it just seems that I'm now explaining to kids what my parents explained to me in my early teens.
Wakey , no money , why , board , players , youth so strong round here , vicious circle I'm no 40 and that's 27 years ago.....
I'm still loyal but I find it impossible to be buoyant 100%of the time . |
