All those rumours are in fact answered in that interview, so we can all move on because none of the rumours had any substance at all, did they.

The Nutjobs forum has got wind of the Andrew Glover interview, they'll be getting giddy now reading whatever they can into it!

Eric France going bust was always on the cards, he's done it a few times already, thats how he operates oh and the whisper is he'll be back up and running soon.

Now i realise sponsors are hard to find and it probably seemed too good to be true but spending/budgeting money was very risky.

Don't quote me with "hindsight" on this one just take a look at Frances records over the years.

You won't find many clubs who DON'T Spend/Budget monies promised by the main sponsor whoever said sponsor may be ! Or many clubs big or small who would have turned FRANCE's offer away, so not sure what your point is really.

Reading between the lines we desperately need 400k to settle creditors.
Bringing forward next seasons season ticket monies eventually gets you down the line.
I am not sure though if our saviours are not prepared to put in any more monies we can do anything else?
As for the France monies who in the right minds put them on the shirts ! on the stands! in the programme ! give hospitality for half a season with not getting any monies at all?

I assume the new sponsor deal was until the end of the season, which gives/has given plenty of time to get a new sponsor in for 2014.

The worry with the season ticket money covering the shortfall now is the potential for this to happen again next year, but hopefully the new staff tasked with bringing in money can avoid this.

I would imagine that the France payments were into staged monthly or quarterly, so you would advertise EF.

Here we go previous poster to this assumes we are using the season ticket money to cover a shortfall becomes reality here this is just how things get taken out of context, nowhere have I seen that the season tickets are to cover a shortfall, yes it may assist with cashflow, as he states its getting to easier months, not having a go here but things said need contextualising or rumour and innuendo goes into overdrive!

IMO the only reason AG came out this week with the Q+A.
Was because of all the rumours/criticism/feedback.
Surrounding the ST offer and they thought the take up was not going to be as large as estimated!!
