Very good point. I think Puletua would go as he is knocking on abit now but he is still a very good player. |

I think the Robinson rumour has been 2 and 2 together making 5 , a comment was made while awaiting the supporters bus leaving for Salford , it was relating to the possible signing of one of the 16s Jamie Robinson who was limping into training

As this is a rumour mill I thought I'd bring up a tweet I saw on twitter to someone about a big queensland forward coming to us for 2014 season (Moley who is very reliable) . I have done abit of research and these are the names Ive got but they may not be the one who will sign for us. This is just a list of names that are out of contract.
Scott Anderson 6ft 2 16st 12lb 27yrs
Mitchell Dodds 6ft 1 16st 7lb 23yrs
Jon Green 6ft 3 16st 12lb 27yrs
Caleb Timu 6ft 2 108kg 19yrs
Jarrod Wallace 6ft 2 100kg 21yrs
As you can see a few of them are really young but realistically if we were to sign any it'd be the older ones. Not saying any of these are the ones but like I said Moley is very reliable and he said a big Queensland forward will be joining us for the 2014 season. None of these may sign just throwing the names on here to see if anyone else has heard anything about them.

Costigan has been playing interchange prop for a while now... Pretty much the role he played for Queensland. Very much a Solomona type player,big, rough, tough but with lovely and subtle hands, spent a little time on the sick list but seems ok now...
Would be a stonking signing for a superleague team.

Agree Costigan would be a machine in SL. Doubt any team could secure him though at this stage of his career given the money in the NRL these days.
Would not be too upset were he to replace Tuson at Wigan, but I have a feeling we will bring in Whitehead to fill that gap in our squad. |
