The one I have heard is that we have recruited Nick Fozzard and we are going to copy the cas membership scheme.

I think that is happening but that this is something else more specific to a individual company/brand.

I heard something the other week from someone within another SL club about a scheme that had been put to all the clubs at a recent meeting where for every person that signs up for a new account and deposits £20 (think it was Foxy Bingo??) the clubs that they support would in return get something like £60 back?

A little vague i know but id had a few to drink when i was told, but i know all the clubs were quite excited about it.

Not sure this is what AG is talking about, as like i say, this was put to all the SL members present at the meeting. He appears to be referring specifically to a new partnership unless i have read it wrong?

I can't get too excited, every time AG tweets something like this I tend to be underwhelmed by the outcome, I'm sure given the wording that it must be good for the club but shan't get too giddy till the announcement at the game on Saturday.

If it’s not a Supermarket how about the Trust getting in bed with one , could we all have the same Loyalty/Club card which could then go into the Trust funds to help finance youth recruitment

I feel the same way tbh . It's obviously going to be good for the club .. but saying that " this is the biggest announcement in the clubs history " again & again AG is setting himself up to get shot at .

I don't really get tweeting/twitter whatever it is, wrong generation I'm afraid. I would suggest its all in the wording, first tweet is biggest partnership deal and second one is best partnership deal - I would read that as not being sponsorship/direct cash to the club but something we fans can buy/get (if we want) and the club gets a kick back. Being fully sceptical it might just be a ploy to get fans to buy a matchday programme on Saturday more than anything else as that's where the announcement is being made! I agree with others its all in the delivery and we will have to wait and see if we share the same excitement come Saturday- I really hope we do, I'm just not convinced we will. . .

I un-followed (?) AG ages ago to avoid cringing when I read his tweets. Follow Sir Richard Agar instead - frequently funny and sometimes hilarious.

Don't know who the hell he really is - but he makes me laugh.

He's occasionally a bit too near the knuckle, but mostly funny.

Someone from the club accused me of being him last year - I was happy to disabuse them of that notion; it's nowt to do with me!

They must be accusing anybody they know, because two people asked me if it was me or if I knew who it was...
He (sir richard) can be very funny but can be very close to the bone aswell!!

Foxy bingo tie in. Don't buy programme though. It's a rip off. £2 for just 24 small pages many of which are adverts.

Put £10 deposit in you get another 20 quid so £30 credit and each club gets 50 quid as long as when you join you state WTW
