Can't blame the ref for the result but he badly affected the standard of the game. Don't think I have ever enjoyed a game with him in charge.

The result was nothing to do with Mr Child.
If we cant complete half of our own sets we wont beat anyone.
Our execution with ball in hand was very poor which left us turning the ball over early in the tackle count and having to cope with too much defence.
Mr Child did have a strange interpretation of a high tackle though.

Child is a poor ref - that's obvious to anyone with eyes; he blows up too often, has a strange and constantly fluctuating interpretation of certain rules and is unable to assert authority on the pitch.

He is however, poor for both teams - his performance was nothing to do with our inability to close out a very winnable game against a poor Hull side.

Had a laugh with the FC fans in the north stand about who would get the next pen and why, none of us could figure out the refs thinking.
