Bit cheesed off as just seen the forecast for tomorrow evening. Light snow in Wakey, but I'm Lancashire-based and so cross-Pennine. Heavy snow forecast in Huddersfield from teatime and all evening, part of the M62 route, and so Wakey might be okay but getting there will be bad, and getting back worse. That probably counts me out.

The forecast seems to suggest that the heavy snow in Wakey arrives in the middle of the night, so it might be okay. And a leveller.

I'm always a bit sceptical about these weather warnings , especially in Wakey as we don't really get that much snow compared to others - but it's white over & snowing about 1/2 a mile from BV already , so hope it doesn't carry on .

Full on blizzards in LS6 and the Road news isnt good either!!

Can't see tonight's match going ahead to be honest. Best bet really is to stay indoors nice and warm and wait for the inevitable postponed announcement. If game is on, it will have to be layers by the plentiful.

The pitch will be fine, just needs to be cleared. It's everything else that may be problematic

The pitch is the easy part. You then have to clear the terraces so it can fit the amount of people in you've already sold tickets for. On tip of that, the pathways around the stadium need to be safe too. It's a hellof a lot of work to be done in the next 7 hours before the ground opens.

As it is, it looks like we got lucky with the snow. The heaviest stuff has gone west of us.
