not sure if i remember tacklers as much as i should ,pretty thankless when good, but maybe if we could chuck Aiton in to the mix then we are just about at perfection.

Voted for Solo but really believe Willie Poching has been our best player. Only Solo, Willie and Ellis have been anywhere near super star status.
Can't believe Willie was not considered in the OP yet Collis was!!

Get some old DVDs out (or VHS tapes!) and just see what a talisman he was.

I dont know if he was the best in the SL era but, he was the best player in the early SL era for Trin and tbf, although Ellis has become a great player and did an excellent job at Wakey, there is no doubt that he kept improving after he left.
I think Solo was close to his peak when he came and on his day he is unplayable.

yep this was a tough one but went for solo he could do things only others can dream about doing, tho i always liked willie poching he was a big reason we did so well in first season of super league, the backs i gone for jd over domic, tho i think prob domic was more skillfull jd gets it for the brilliant service he gave us on and off the field
