I dont think I mentioned anything about beach balls chanting fancy dress etc. what I mentioned was how you have condoned an illegal act you obviously dont get its a criminal offence to enter the playing area.

Look illegal or not, it happens at sporting events up and down the country with no serious consequences. I don't remember anyone condemning it this much when it happened at any of the numerous last day of the season avoiding relegation games. Including when there were approx 1000+ on the pitch waiting to hear the outcome of the Salford Cas game in the early 2000's.

To answer Wildshot, yes I did go on the pitch - bit of a rush of blood to the head to be honest but I certainly don't condone any of the violence (I didn't notice at the time but I'll take your word.)

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, the players came over and celebrated at the end as well so no harm done IMO.

Will be a condition of entry to any ground football its an offence LSV could be a designated sporting ground as it has Blackburn Rovers reserves playing there.

The best sight is the players coming over to the fans and showing how they appreciate the support not a rabble of fans going on the pitch

It is an offence to enter the field of play of a designated sporting event. The only events so far designated are football games.

It's the event that is designated, not the ground.

Standing up all game in a stadium despite being told to sit down, smoking in a stadium despite being told it was a no smoking stadium and going on the pitch despite being told not to do so. 'We'll do what we want', pathetic.

Really enjoyed the game though and can't wait for Headingley where I assume a number of folk will sit down and not smoke!

In Australia they don't even ask kindly, if you are smoking in the ground then you are ejected immediately, no questions asked.

The LSV stewards did not look to be of the professional quality of Key Security, not a criticism of them just how some clubs operate. They clearly did not feel safe enjoy to eject people.

If I see anyone on our terrace smoking on Saturday night I will have no hesitation on informing a steward.

Just because people have addictions doesn't mean that they have the right to impose poisonous air on the rest of us. Please show respect on the rest of us.

Times have moved on in the last decade and fans of a decade ago have matured and moved on. If your actions result in a fan on the club then don't expect to find any friends on here.

You are incorrect with your assumption regarding dressing up as Santa, although for me if someone wishes to attend a game in fancy dress then I don't see why they would attract your derision. Perhaps you would be happier if everyone turned up dressed in grey suits, sat miserably watching the game and then left (quietly) upon the final hooter?

You couldn't be further from the truth.

My only crime is loving this club and despising any actions which ruin the integrity and good name of the club. In recent times this has been caused by selfish actions of fans who break the rules (smoking, pitch invasions) or are aggressive and antagonisig to other supporters. I plead very guilty on the crime of pride, sue me. If you read this thread you will also see that you are in the significant minority of people on here who support the actions of the pitch invaders.

I like everyone else enjoy watching our team, celebrating and having a good time, but not at the expense of the majority of others or to the discomfort of anyone else.

Non smokers, dont you just love em. I don't condone any of the agressive behaviour but for gods sake lighten up and enjoy the season.

Having been on both sides of the fence, I can say with certainty that even as a professional smoker, I would never have sparked up in the middle of a non-smoking crowd - it's just disrespectful.

If you can't go 80 minutes without a fag, I'd suggest some nicotine gum or an inhalator; equally, if you choose to ignore a non-smoking rule and get yourself ejected, that's just tough tittes.

I'm a smoker but do not agree with people smoking in a packed stand. It is not appropriate to subject people to my second hand smoke.

I didn't have one at Leigh but I do home games. I just walk to the back of the stand /steps where very few people are.

Anyway it's happened. Everyone has different opinions but let's let's concentrate on smashing the rhinos into the ground. That will do me just fine

Well indeed. FWIW I am also a dreaded smoker, but would never dream of sparking up in a stand of people, I always move to a less populated area if I have one at all during the game.

Anyway sounds like we are both passionate about WTW so we're on the same side anyway, just with a difference of opinion. So did we agree that invading the pitch is bad and that we shouldn't do it against Leeds (or anyone else)?

The other arguements are about things taht are disrespectful to other supporters but invading the pitch will give us a bad name and undo a lot of the hard work done by the team and board.
Its taken a lot of work to get us talked about as positively as we are now. Lets not spoil it.

Would it be worth paying a couple of our security staff to attend at the away games if only to identify trouble causers. Would hate to see club fined and losing money that could be used for potential signings. Did see some poor behaviour on Saturday, actually saw some middle aged woman holding back one of the barriers while supporters ran on to field!!!!! also heard some fans singing the praises of Leeds United. Baffling
