If you want to make any judgement about Morton or any other of our u20s then why not make the effort and get down to Belle Vue for the u20's. Admission is free! (for members) you will not be disapointed. The turn out against Cas u20's (curtainraiser) was embarrassing but still the lads still produced the goods(Morton included).

Cowling has been playing well for us as has Russ Spiers as well, and I can only thank the Wakefield staff for allowing Danny and Russ to come on Dual Reg to Donny and help us achieve our goal of promotion which is what has happened

Lets hope the deal works out for both clubs in the future.

Amazing performance from Cowling... some great tackling, composed in attacking situations. Did not get rush to the head. Potential game changer getting Flannery into touch and keeping strong meli in the in goal to get another set of 6.

Though Cowling was crap today, poor defence, poor in attack., couldn't tackle a good dinner. (just in case Uncle Ken from Huddersfield is watching

Cowling had a tough debut against a saints side hell bent on playing expansive rugby. The lad stood up well, definitely one for the future.

Imho there is never a better time to bring in young players than when the team is playing with such confidence and has such momentum. It can only help the likes of Cowling as he will forever be associated with a great win. He's pretty much there now so long as he wants it.

Real tough game to make your debut and especially against a side who had targeted our right hand side of defence. Thought he showed up well, made some important tackles, and didn't look out of place.

Thought Cowling was very good today. Defended well and ran it in strong. Good debut and looking forward to seeing him develop.

If foz had trusted him more then we'd have had a more comfortable victory. Foxs defense was the only negative for me today kept shooting in off his wing when he didn't need to, as usual went well going forward though.

Last time I saw Cowling (about a year ago) he still looked like a boy. Looked much bigger yesterday, someones worked hard on him.

Agree - add to that Richie Mathers who didnt lay a finger on Meli on two occasions when one on one.. To be fair sides are going to pepper Fox all game so he should get the opportunity to turn it around.

He came on leaps and bounds when on loan with us, I'm happy for him given the nasty injury he suffered earlier on this season.

I'd suggest that Martin Clawson has a lot do with that - less sports science and more Rocky training montage; from what I hear, he absolutely beasts the players and the benefits in terms of strength and superior fitness are becoming apparent for all to see.
