I have supported Wakefield for 37 years and Hull and Hull KR have always being a horrible nasty bunch I have being to every ground in the RL and watched many other games that did not involve Wakefield I have seen very few problems other than when we play the Hull clubs they both have nasty foul mouthed fans who would be better off supporting Leeds Utd. I have watched games like Fev V Cas Dewsbury V Batley Cas v Wakey and barr the rare incident banter is banter but the Hull fans go too far.

Ref Ben Cockayne our club gave him the chance and the kid has taken it with both hands for me one of our better signings in the SL era I do not care about his past he had paid the price for it and its now down to him to grow up and do what he does well he is a very good RL player

I notice that Hull fans are insisting his treatment is based on his criminal conviction, and not his longstanding links to Rovers. Can I ask, do all visiting fans abuse him?

Erm excuse me but as a Rovers fan I,ve been coming to Belle Vue for many years,and don't recall any trouble between our two clubs,

I never noticed Tavita Leo Latu being singled out for abuse by the FC fans despite his misdemeanour's.

Cockayne, as you no doubt will know, is a love or hate character, he does rattle cages and rubs people up the wrong way so I’m sure he gets some reaction, but ultimately it’s because of something he does during the game rather than before the game starts.

He knocked on the from the KO right in front of the majority of the Hull fans who took huge delight in mocking him so no doubt his over the top celebration was born in someway from that.

The publicity that the Cockayne case got in Hull, and the lack of any actual justice that was given to his victim, means he will always be the centre of attention for Hull fans. It would be the same in any other area. Pryce got plenty after his misdemeanour's.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people that take banter too far. I think most of the chanting towards Ganson was more "pantomime" than anything, but again their were the idiots that took it too far. You didn't see him coming over to give the Hull fans loads after the game, did you?

Players have more responsibility, MUCH more responsibility, than fans (it's US that pays to see THEM at the end of the day). It shouldn't be tolerated by either, but the spotlight will always shine more on the players than the fans as they're the ones that get paid and their the ones that have the most influence. And before someone misinterprets what I've said AGAIN, I AREN'T CONDONING EITHER!

Being spat at on 2 or 3 occasions at HKR old lad and will never forget a JPS Cup final at Elland Road in the 80s animals in fact I would say HKR are worse than Hull

I remember there being trouble in the play off semi final in 98 against KR when Franny Stephenson was a little enthuisiastic in his celebrations.

We all have different memories, I thought it was Bostock who went to celebrate to the wrong set of fans - it happens, it's part of life - I just love the way fans rarely rebuke their own naughty fans but are very quick to be outraged the other way around.

I remember that very well, they wanged the waste bins and owt else they could find, one lad tried to climb the barrier to fight the players, i offered him a leg up

He was gesticulating to the away end when we played at theirs earlier in the season - summat and nowt, over in a flash and I definitely didn't chuck anything at him or take to Twitter to question his parentage or accuse him of being a self-lover.

I thought Charlie was awesome against Hull yet again. Top signing. I like our two wingers...when they have the ball. Against taller opposition they will struggle (not their fault) but in attack they are lively, quick and their effort is fantastic.

We all have fans like this. We should be working hard to get rid of them but you can't say we are innocent and the rest are terrible.
or in this case that Hull is so terrible.
I've been to Hull v Hull KR games and never felt threatened. Equally I've seen trouble in Hull and elsewhere.

And as said above, I've seen players do things on the field that wound me up, but never felt the need to throw anything or attack anyone. It's just a game for goodness sake. In exactly the same way as the players give it to each other and then shake hands and move on, so should the supporters.
