He has the physique and all the skill you would need to be one of the best in the world. Sadly he hasn't got the brains to go with it and is constantly an accident waiting to happen.

Hock has been outstanding this year and he does seem to have more control. I did not notice him spit but IF he did he should be hung out to dry.

I have no issue at all with his bully boy tactics but spitting is simply unacceptable.

He is not by any means a clean player and he is also not the sharpest tool in the box but I credit him for turning his life around, which those who know the story behind the headlines know he has done from in very difficult circumstances.

England need a Gaz Hock in the team as a player as he offers something no other English forward does in relation to strike and his disruptive style of play. Good old fashioned forward.

Sam Tomkins has to be the biggest coward in super league. Did everything he could to keep his shirt clean and the sky team still kept mentioning him. Well done to fev, just shows that aggressive defense will stop even the best sides from wanting to play rugby. As for hock, i saw him spit and that is bang out of order. spitting is disgusting and he deserves a ban

Everyone saw Hock spit but for me you couldn't tell whether he was just spitting or if it was directed at Dickens. I'd have thought more would have come about it at the time had he actually spat at Dickens, probably just didn't look good on TV.

Yes but did he actually spit at him? I very much doubt it as it is considered the worst thing to do to an opponentby many in the game. I'm pretty sure Stu would have levelled him if he thought Hock had aimed his spit directly at him, plus it was right in front oif the ref and I don't think even Hock is that stupid. The bloke is an excellent player and very aggressive but I doubt you'd find many players in the game at any level who would spit at an opponent, its simply disgusting.

Twice in that game you can clearly lip read him throwing foul abuse, now i use those terms at work BUT i don't work in front of a SKY camera, he represents the game of RL and yet again imo he lets it down.

when i saw the "spitting" at the time i thought some prissy pedant would make a thing of it, even though there was nothing in it. i had assumed that it would be a rovers fan though. clearly there was nothing in it, and we have five pages on it.

hock scored two magnificent tries, which were a large part of the difference between the teams. whilst i don't like the way he conducts himself, he can certainly play football.

Problem is even if El Ray has it wrong this time it's irrelevant to the validity of what he says. He could have called Hock all these things a week, a month or a year ago and they would still have been correct. The bloke is a low life, he's not an enforcer he's a thug. An enforcer as you laughingly call him is a tough player who hits hard and hurts within the absolute limits of the rules of the game. Sure he can play but no one is above the game, if you want to know what happens if you do that look at football. It's not a witch hunt you silly man, it's drawing a line and I do draw the line at spitting.
