It's clear that Betfair were in the running and there may have been others, not least proswiz or whatever they're called.

It's safe to say that Stobart will have been the best deal on the table and the most palatable as a brand - certainly better than a bookie or a mysterious 'wealth creator' with questionable literacy skills.
