The ground works are likely to be another 5 weeks before they are completed. Wind and snow loading meant original designs needed supports of approx. 700mm which would be too obstructive. A new design has been received and the club are looking to approve and order the parts ASAP. The RFL are aware and its was a club deadline for the works to be completed before the start of the season, the commitment made to the RFL only stated that cover would be completed at some stage during the season.

The Heritage shirt costs £54 and half of the proceeds will go to Wakefield Hospice. Only 200 available and they go on sale this week. Unfortunately there are no medium sizes! Only large and extra large. If demand dictates it more will be produced.

Agar doesn't expect the artificial pitch to be an issue. The team have had experience of playing on artificial surfaces and as its the first match he doesn't expect Widnes to have too much of an advantage.

Cotton, and it looks like the badge is stitched on. I thinks its a replica of the 1960 shirt. Think its the same one which was posted on here last year.

Agree, it is good news but not what most fans were looking for, like you say unless there's more to come.

Think thats it. Good news for me. His effort in the preseason has been rewarded and he's tied up on a long term deal which is the path the club need to take.

Agar concedes Trinity are lightweight up front, but will play in a different and more intelligent way rather than just steamrollering the opposition.
