I agree with not wanting another fullback however I thought Tongia looked a real talent and it would be a shame if we didn't sign him. I think he is a exciting player.

Apologies my good man, does say and possibly a fullback though but what he has said you would agree with to a point, as for the Lee Smith suggestions, if we could get him back to the form before he went to Yawnion he could be great. |

I take what most coaches say to the press regarding signings with a pinch of salt. The lie of the land changes day to day and the article is probably already out of date. FWIW I still think that in addition to the two overseas halfbacks we'll see four or five more come in with two or three going the other way. I believe Lee Smith was given the oppoutunity to test the market as he has fallen down the pecking order at Leeds but there is more than us interested in him so it may come down to finances. Although having Amor and Lauitiiti here could be helpful. I think Dowes will sign once someone has been released, possibly on dual registration and I still wouldn't be surprised if Obst turns up again. Don't know what has happened with Tongia but you have to wonder whether that ship has sailed.
