Quite a short statement from Wakefield on the website, and reading the story on sky sports website Lukes full of how happy he is to go back to Shudds,Not one mention of any thanks to Wakefield for giving him a go or sticking with him.If this is indicitive of the guy then good riddance I say ! if not then my apologies.

It's a massive loss. If there were a hat full of talented and pacy centres in the game let alone at Trinity who know how to score tries I'd agree. Sadly there aren't. We have no obvious replacement who is ready. Again we are losing a player who is about to come to his peak in the next few years injuries permitting. As ever someone else will benefit and yet again we will be a team full of old men and novices and be missing that core of players at the top of their game.

I really don't know how you can say it's not a big loss when it is - again it sends all the wrong messages.

I admit in this case there were circumstances beyond the clubs control but we simply can't keep dismissing this hemorrhage of talent we have suffered for years now. It's this more than anything that cost us credibility and thus fans. I know you can't keep em all but most should be the ideal.

It's purely down to money. They all yabber on about the ground, the potential, the coaching etc etc. If Cas had offered Eden more money he would've stayed there.
Time moves on and some of these players that are signing on for Shudds aren't even aware of thier clubs murky recent history. Again, not that it would override Kens pieces of silver.

Agree I think Morton has been poor this year. Id rather keep johnson than morton to be honest. He as far more potential for me. Morton can he get better maybe? Johnson can he get better - undoubtably. George as gone turned his back on us .

Eden is a WTW product and the coaching team know all about him. Cas do now too.

TBF to Cas, they took a chance on him when we released him, but they won't miss him.

I think Morton has done OK but he just isn't as good as George and never will be. I don't want to lose any but especially those with that bit of extra class which George has.

George leaving has nothing to do with Kear and we all know that. This class clown routine is getting tiresome.

I was guilty of giving Morton a hard time after he gave Cas the cup win but the last time we played Cas I thought he was tremendous, I think he could be as good as Chris Reilly playing under a good coach.

You're wrong yet again Mr Topsy Turvy, the George to Shudds rumour is older than you are! I'm sure the doubt over Playing 1 more year under Kear and getting 2 decent passes a season had a massive bearing on his desires some months ago. I doubt Agar (who you will hate if I like) comes into it.

I can't recall many games where i've been in the car on the way home discussing how Luke George is class? He's scored a few good tries and shown some real pace at times but no way am I as upset as when we lost Atkins.

One thing Morton has now is the willingness to drive it in hard when returning the ball and seems to be really strong for his size. Everytime George drove it in you were worried that he would get driven back or twist something.

Eden is a bit of a strange one he has played for your academy and bradford and played in our scholarship and and reserve teams. so all 3 clubs can have some claim to have developed him.

Not looking to "claim" him, simply pointing out that, IMO, he hasn't got what it takes for SL.

He won't get in the Hudds team.

For Eden, add 2 years and substitute his name for "McNally" or "Carlisle", in this year's end of season announcement from the Giants.

I suppose my opinion on George being class is subjective. My opinion on him being better than Morton is stating the obvious IMHO.

Lets see in a few years time when George is a SL regular and Morton is playing for Doncaster
