I think an unusual piece of efficiency from the Post Office may have let the club down. My letter arrived this morning having been sent 2nd class yesterday. Most unusual for a 2nd class letter to arrive the following day. Had it not have done it would have probably come Saturday morning or Monday.

one thing that James said is that there was still a family season ticket which should be two adults and two kids for £220 but this is missing off the forms

He did but the cat never got let out of the bag (for a change) and i thought the idea was to announce pror to the game.


I think they have got it wrong but it seems someone may be doing exactly what he wants, i am not buying a season ticket untill we get a coach sorted and if its "one of the lads" i'm out.

The letter says "13 games" not 26/27 so does this mean that it is for home games only?

ThIs is a great offer. Any one with any interest in watching Wakey during the season should get one. As an example I have two friends who are big fans but for various reasons they have no membership at present and although home and away fans they currently do not count on the super leagues 5000 members criteria. They are both going to get one. If we can covert more of this type of fan we should smash the 2500 figure. Big well done to the club.

I had a junior ticket last year, which was home and away. I will be getting a student one this year, and I hoped that it would be home and away. Il check with the club tomorrow.

I thought the letter was confusing, but I think you are wrong, as you are reading it the same way that I did at first.

I think it means that you can buy before 30th September at £100, but if less than 2,500 buy it, it goes up to £175 after 30th September. If more than 2,500 buy, it stays at £100. I can't see that they can take £100 off you, and then say we want another £75 because it wasn't as popular as we thought it would be.

Don't want to moan, but it isn't clear. If you are right, how many people will not complete the purchase? Do you have the option of getting a £100 refund if it goes up to £175? I don't know. I don't think you can make people commit to £100 and ask for more (unless the contract is for £175 and you are effectively getting a sales dependent discount).

Season tickets will cost £175 (early bird price). If 2500 people have signed up for a Gold membership before 30th September the cost will be £100, for everyone. If this target isn't achieved, then its the full early bird price. Seems simple enough to me.

That's not what the letter says. It says that it is £100, and that is the price on the form you return. It states that if 2,500 sign up, they will "keep" the price at £100. If less, it will revert to £175.

My reading of it is that it is £100 until 30th September. If you wait until after that date, there is a risk it will be £175.

It says £100 on the form, and so if I send it in with a cheque for £100, they can't ask for another £75 on 1st October.

I suppose this is why Bradford went down the pledge route, to get an idea of numbers before people had to pay up.

I'm sure there will be something in the T&C's thats makes people aware that should the target not be achieved they will be seeking the additional payment.
