What really pees me off about all this is that it is already taken for granted that we have gone.
Cas are being linked with new players and coaches for next year without the slightest mention that they are still,in theory,under threat.
Crusaders are laughing at the RFL.They are supposed to be bringing Welsh players through then go and sign Mcpherson and the OAP Senior,before the announcement.
The RFL should not be allowing any clubs under threat to be signing anybody as it is making a mockery of the system or they should just say now who is gone.
Also the RFL should get on our side for the remaining few weeks and stop the vultures circling until the right time,it is a disgrace.
Really hope that RFL publish the franchise results so everybody knows it was fair but we know they won't cos it will show we shouldn't have gone.

Both signed for just this season I think. As for the academy lads with the state of our finances at the start of the year I doubt many will be contracted for next year. And even if they are if they want to go and other clubs want them badly enough they'll just pay the cash and off they'll go.

I agree, he will be a good player at a lower level and I also think he would be happy to stay with us.

I'd have also thought that Morrison wouldn't just jump ship.
Part of the reason coming here was to get coaching opportunities.

If we go down he has the perfect opportunity. He won't walk into a SL job but would make his mark at next level down.

He's an asset now. My favourate player.

I personally think he can play another year of Super League and I think at least one club will offer him the chance to do this and I think he would rather play Super League than Championship.

I would be pleased with that. I think we could build at good championship team around Moore and Wildie and i also think that Higgins and Mariano would form the basis of a very powerful pack at that level.

What about Hyde and PJ?

I think Hyde will stay as well meaning he could play in the halves with Moore and Wildie playing at hooker.

Paul Johnson will certainly get a Super league contract.

To be fair (or unfair?) this has been the scenario throughout our Super League life, if not before. When Nigel Wright, Gaz Ellis even Poching were enticed away we were all similarly gutted. Maybe this could be the last assett stripping before we start afresh.

You could well be right but I think it will hurt more this time because with the change of ownership we all thought the stripping of our assets were over. I am not blaming Glover for this because his hands are tied until after the 26th.

If we get a licence they're not, but it could well change if we don't, especially Frankie. Lets just say agents like to have contingency plans.
