The way it came across to me at the fans forum the other night was that as none of the current management team had been involved in the discussions/dealings with the council so far, James wanted to find out EXACTLY what was going on, where everyone was up to, and if things weren't looking good, to look at what could be done for the benefit of rugby in the area. That would mean looking at the progress made by other clubs in the area, looking at whether the council were fully supporting to the max the NM development, whether there was any scope for a new build somewhere else, whether a short term rent at another ground was feasible until NM was build, that kind of thing. Rather than a we want to move in with whoever, it came across to me as a we want to get SOMETHING sorted, for the longer term good - if that meant going in short term with someone else, they would look at the options.

No I doubt we have a business plan as yet - I'd be a bit worried if a club just out of Admin and only 10 days old did. It would be IMO a bit short on detail, we will have a rough outline that's all - Rome (that's in Italy) was not built in a day.

As TRB has stated JE comments have been mis-construde - I reckon he was offering Cas another chance to join us in NM, but that's just what I think.

Do Barnsley want 25/30k a game, I don't know. However if that includes all running, tax and staffing costs that less than 420k a year at worst. That's not bad, probably not much more than it cost at BV. What's the problem.
