I agree. Bringing in one top guy will not aid the team as much as a couple of less quality but who fit the team dynamic and spirit we are showing at the moment.

I disagree, we have done the sign a handful over signing 2 quality players before. What difference did solomona make and he was one person.

If we can sign 2 players of good quality instead In the right positions that would be pleasing.

Personally, I think that signing one big name player will do us the world of good. We have got to prioritise a half back and a prop, but bringing in someone like Tahu would make a real bold statement. The RFL need to know that we mean business, and I reckon Tahu could do this. We need to make clubs fear coming to Belle Vue, because they know they are going to face a very strong Wakefield team.

I believe we had budgeted on spending about £1million of the £1.6million cap before the season started.
Having lost a couple of "probably" bigger earners in the squad and brought in a few lower earners to replace them I would guess that we are still somewhere around that mark and so have over £1/2M to spend if we could find the right people to spend it on.
As someone else said, no point in doing it just for the sake of it, but I suspect our new owner has enough business sense to realise that too.
