1. Is exercising his business acumen and waiting until later to force a lower price. Not exactly a sellers market.
2. What he wants isn't best for the club, as he wants us to help build a football side.

The former is his choice. The latter is good for us if he has pulled out.

At the same time he could be using Wakey as leverage to take over another club in another Sport! From experience just wait and see!

SO'C isn't the richest man in the country but what he has done with Widnes in terms of structure / sponsors etc is incredible and most importantly has made us much more self funding.

Without the guarentee of a 3 year franchise then i am affraid it would be money in and none out scenario, Crowds would drop off and the salary cap would shrink to 300k, New market is certainly still a 50/50. sky money would dry up. Then there is no guarentee that if you do everything the RFL ask of you that you would get back up in three years as there is toulouse and Barrow wanting up and they are expansion clubs.

Everything in Championship is stacked against you without a Money backer i am affraid and why would money be ploughed into so much uncertainty.

Its fine if sky want you in for viewing figures like Quins, Crusaders. Wakefield ???.. I am affraid not, Heartland clubs dont count like they used to.

Actually I am very pleased with today Mr Glover whether you agree or not made no secret last week about his bid, he had corresponded with fans on this board.

Lets be honest there is only one way now and thats got be to a better place SL or not.

Now is the time to re launch Squad builder etc. Feline and co have done a great job but the support from the previous regime from my perception was limited.

What happens if u dont find someone to buy the club in say the next two months,how much time do the rfl allow ?.I know from our own experiance how it feels,I remember there people with money buckets at our local market asking for money to save our club,fortunately i think we resolved it fast.Hope u do and dont go the way of blackpool that would be a shock

Any momentum caused by the replacement of the previous board, will soon be lost after 4-5 stuffings in the league and us haemorrhaging players with nothing coming the other way.
Time to step up to the plate Mr Glover and show your intent, so far the SO1873 club statements have been easy meat, it's a little bit tougher at the moment but imperative that the supporters are treat respectfully and kept in the loop.
1) has the purchase been completed?
2) will we continue to lose players?
3) what plans are in place for bringing in players, and of what standard?
4) are we realistically heading out of SL?
Having watched our first game even Mr Glover must be aware that our current squad (now minus obst, and whoever else) is neither competitive or befitting SL, and looks like it will pick up few points, and this will be disastrous for all of us who want to see our club revived both on and off the field.
