Students seem to come just under concessions at Bradford, and so I'm not sure you're right about that. It wasn't exactly clear, because it talked about students just getting a discount on the gate (unless that was a discount off the young adult ticket). I couldn't see anywhere with a clause describing "young adult".

| whats the problem? i really dont get it. School students should get it cheaper. 16+ still in education should still pay that little more. simply because they are able to work. Dont get me wrong ive had student tickets up until last year but when it came to getting them i went and did extra hours coaching or working. whats the god damn problem!

Yes a little bit more, but when juniors are £20 and students are £95, its a big difference.
In a few other clubs, students pay double the amount of what juniors pay.

| Maybe the club should be doing more to attract young fans, but as the £20 on the gate fee for adults this year has shown there doesn't seem much will to look to growing gates for the future, maybe it's just needs must or a lack of imagination.
I would like to see a special deal specifically for Wakefield College students, given all the links the club have, but I'm not holding my breath for the forward thinking policies.
P.S. A 5 year old would have got in to all games for free last year, but now will have to pay. Have they had a change in income capacity? Life moves on and gets more expensive. Get used to it.

| You say there are jobs out there and you just have to be willing to do them, but I have lost count of the amount of jobs I have applied for since I started college last September but the amount of employers that actually get back to you about them is pretty poor tbf. And would it not be for my age I would be applying for jobs that include nightshifts, but as the law stands I can't.I would also like to add that not all teenagers/students are laybouts, its not very fair to stereotype todays young 'uns on whether or not they have a job even if they are looking for one, there probably has been and will be again, a time where you have been unemployed so by your wisdom that would make you a "workshy layabout" yeah, didnt think so..... And was there any need to start lowering the tone by chucking about insults? Not really....

| This thread was made by me, to try and get support to keep us in line for a franchise. If you look back, you'll realise i havn't said i'm not gettin a season ticket. I was pointing out that some students will be unwilling to pay for it.
Forums are open for discussion and debate, some people agree, some people disagree, in this case students agree with my first post, other believe its a way of life, things get expensive.
But any need for the insults on the younger generation?

| Don't get the anti student jibes eg get a job, beer money etc.
Anyone who wants to be someone generally has to be a student.
It's certainly not easy and the work/financial sacrifice is significantly more than people who just get a job!

No I don't get the jibes either, especially considering you can't get in to a lot of professions, without going through the college then university route, but I don't think what the club charges is too much at all,at the end of the day, if you support the club you'll find a way to get the money ,even if it means cutting back on other things you spend your money on

| I think the ticket's a fair price given that I get in for a tenner with my student card when I'm about. A season ticket's pointless for me given that I'm away in Exeter for most of the year round and miss a fair chunk of home games. Away games included would possibly persuade me to get one as then I'd get into a lot more games for a reasonable cost at Easter and during summer, but it's not to be and I can understand that from a revenue point of view.
It's not the prices that're gonna keep the young folk away anyways, it's the rugby

| Wait till you get to Uni, then you will be paying for everything other than council tax! (Including dentist/doctors ect) Despite being in full time education. When I was at college I worked any job I could, and have worked since I was 13 to pay for things like Season Tickets ect. ATEOTD you should be working if you want to afford such luxuries such as Rugby matches. Not being funny but just because you are young doesn't mean you should have special exemptions, the club runs on a tight budget and by the time someone is 16 their heart is either in the club or not and money doesn't matter to the individual any longer. The club runs on a watertight budget and at £6-odd a game is a bargain. Don't mean to be patronising but thats how these things work IMO.

Under 16's in the majority cant get part time jobs and don't receive ema.
College Students do in the main receive ema and you should be working a part time job it'll help you when looking for jobs later in life.
I've paid these prices and i've paid for away tickets too; it is doable and all students throughout the country pay the same prices for rugby tickets.
A shirt get it for x-mas.
Your talking nonsense and you need to budget your money.
