Mine is the opinion of Hundreds of people in Wakefield and that is why alot of people I know wont set foot in Belle Vue or any other stadium until hes gone! Fair enough he may have been there through Thin and Thinner but its time he stepped aside and let someone new have a go to attempt to make a success out of wakefield that we havent had since the sixties. I didnt see it but certainly would like my club to be a force to be reckoned with again.

Like him or not, and I have no opinion either way never having actually met the guy, he was there when the club needed him, and when nobody else was. For that fact alone he deserves respect and gratitude. If I were a wealthy bloke looking to 'invest', or to put it more properly blow huge sums of cash for no financial return, I'd look at all the spite and bile on here and think twice about it!

I had a "little chat" at the Warington game with a slightly irrate fan.....was it you Mopsey?
He was saying the club showed no ambition and that we just let all the best players go for no reason, like Ellis, Westwood, Fox, Brough.

When I said that we obviously can't afford to keep many of these players and that is just a fact of life, he went mental saying other clubs spend money when they haven't got it, why don't we.
So I asked, would he rather the club went bankrupt attempting to get a higher place and he was adament that he did.

Now he didn't seem to have learning difficulties or anything, though a few rage issues maybe, so I had to just accept that some people are just blind to things like that.
He didn't speak highly of our Chairman, and would have upset the girl on the tannoy if she'd heard his language. But I asked the question that is really being asked by WakeyRule above....why don't you put more moeny in yourself if you think it is so easy for Ted? If you buy a season ticket, why not buy two? Money isn't a problem....just get a loan. You'll pay it back over time. Don't worry about the bank balance. My friend didn't respond to that but at the end of he day, like the directors or not (or the "do gooders" around the club) they give up money and time for the club.
Until you do the same, over and above what you pay for the entertainment of watching Wakefield (

) you can't really complain too much about about what they do............well ok you can complain but you don't have much of a case.

No it was not, I can tell you two good reasons why it was not him. Firstly my dad does not do away matches because he cant drag himself out of the club on an afternoon, and he would not have been able to get back in time to go to chappel for evening prayer, and also he does not use bad language due to his connections with the church except at me mam for nagging him. He also says that they let those 4 go for money which is hardly for no reason

Good post which i agree with and not defending said nit wit in any way, i guess atleast he's showing some passion about his club

The other side of the argument is its also the job of the board to put money in to the club, for me as a fan i'm not bothered about us bringing in big name players and i'm quite happy to keep watching trin at bellvue, I just want to see us keep hold of some of the great tallent we have produced, our ability to bring players though the ranks is something we do as good as any other club in the league, I know its not always possible for this to happen but for me that has to be the way forward
