you see at least your honest, i know you work hard for the club, and i know you think all this this season is pigging us all off. Every sod on here would do something if they could to help but i dont see what we gain by pretending alls well becuase it isnt.

Surely the question should be could someone else do any worse then what we are seeing at present? IMO the answer is NO.

The easy thing IMO is to do nothing and let the current situation continue unchecked and lose more floating supporters and put off any prospective new ones.

I am sure that there are coaches out there who would welcome the chance of 18 months coaching a SL side in a "No Lose" situation.

That's because what I see is unacceptable - but the fact that I try and support the club doesn't mean that I don't berate them when I speak to them - is that really too difficult to understand?

Understand this - I get nothing, nil, zilch, nada for everything I do / have done for the club. So why the chuff I do it when all I get is a crappy afternoon at BV and then slagged off on here for having had the temerity to stand up and at least try and help I have absolutely no idea.

In fact - there could well be a vacancy appearing around here - let someone else have a turn of this fun!

I do bits when i can to help out but lets just make this clear, i don't and never have worked for the club.

I have and will support "outside events" and various fundraisers but i have never worked for the club and would not if asked.

You would not wish to because some on here would "label you" for making a effort to make things better.

I think the problem is that there are too many coaches job's coming up at the end of the season at better clubs

Tricky, don't get me wrong and i understand all this but thats a hell of a gamble, yes we could stay as we are and hope for the best and if it goes the wrong way we will lose support, or we could take the option you give and risk it.

I'll get shot for bringing the stadium issue into this but for me JK is a big asset in our next franchise bid and maybe thats worth sticking with it.

We all want a strong, vibrant, exciting and positive club - yet it seems unfashionable / un-attractive to been seen to help it. The WiSCA folk all work for nowt - yet they are the next best thing to Leppars, or so it seems to some folk around here.

Is this part of the same mentality that dictates that we must slag off everything that anyone tries to make Wakefield a better place? The Hepworth - an eyesore; the Bull-ring - a vacuum; Pinderfields - over-priced, etc etc...

How can we ever move forward when we don't even appear unified as to where it is we want to go as a club - and even if we were, most wouldn't want to be seen in public admitting that they are happy to do so - because it's not cool!

This isn't a rant at the work that people like you do - it's a genuine question about how to get at least some of that energy working towards the club - it's our club and we would be stronger if we were behind it together!

But isn't he a director of summat or other so he can remain at the club, and then we can get a new coach but I presume it is not that simple.

Hope your right but wouldn't the fact that it is well known in RL circles he wanted to leave us, negate the view of him being a big asset to us to those outside of the club (ie whatever he says is going to sound hollow cos he wanted to go)
