So you've appointed architects (apparently). Why such a relatively simple thing as taken at least 2 years says volumes about the projects problems. Lets face it Dick Wright is trying to buy time to see what happens with the outcome of our planning permission. Then he will make the appropriate statements for the benefit of fans and RFL to make it appear that everything is well with the project, or at least give off the impression that the Glasshoughton project is more advanced than the Stanley project! Of course that is what is happening. That is why we would just hand out money to businesses just so we can 'buy time'. Get real; some of you Wakefield fans cannot bear the thought of Cas getting this stadium. It does make me believe you want us to move in with you just so you can feel better about your own project.

I seriously hope that this is the good news for your club that it appears to be, no way would I want to share a stadium with Cas (wherever that may be, Glasshoughton or Stanley).

That said, like Chissitt said the only time I will believe EITHER project is on course is when the building begins.

Of course. And it would be wrong to assume that everything is rosy about it. But equally, it's good news and it's also good that we could be upto applying for full planning permission in just a few months.
