As I posted yesterday he hadn't made his mind up on Wednesday but I haven't managed to speak to him since then. He was from what I could gather interested in the possibility.

In case you haven't noticed, there's been 7 threads over the last week or so, on this board, all relating to this topic.
This to us fans, is as big a story as there is, some desperate for danny to stay, some for him to go and an end to it all.
What is common, is for all of us to get to know as much about it as possible, that's the purpose of this forum, but to share stories amongst fellow fans.
So why not share? Why tease?
Nobody else has problem divulging there bits n' pieces Of tittle tattle, pub gossip and hear say for common consumption, so why the big deal????

I have told you what my position is - the details I have been given are not for me to divulge - I do try and give as much detail as I can, without breaching confidence. I am not someone else - and the details I am told (sometimes things that don't actually end up happening, hence not saying too much) are not 'tittle tattle' from a pub!

Now please cease this personal crusade against me - it is very tiresome!

I believe that any deal may well be a 'mix' of things, but as no deal was finalised - anything could happen (in the next 80 minutes!

I do not know much of the details of the deal but its probably about £100K 'in kind' comming our way.
Also for my mate catnap we are not talking about subsidised friendlies in that figure

Kirmond had a meeting with J.K this morning and will sign a loan deal to the end of the season tomorrow morning.presumably part of the Brough deal? welcome danny lad

He'd get game time at Hudds though. Seems a shame if he's not going to stay after the loan spell (which I can't see happening but who knows) but I suppose it gives us stability for the rest of the season with Brough gone and allows us to plan ahead with a little more clarity.

we dont need kirmond to see clarity in who we have planned as a replacement for brough for next season....!

Kirmond was a hell of a player and if he can produce the form for you that he gave to us before his injury you have got a good signing.

Would like to think he can recover from his knee problem and if so would love him back at the Giants.

Planned is one word, signed and coming is another.

There's alot of things that can changed between now and then, there's been plenty of players we've planned to acquire at this stage of season in preparation for the next and there has not been for one reason or another a great conversion rate.

We shouldn't be counting our chickens yet.
