Wouldn't discount any players regarding their playing abilities but would not like to see either Leon Pryce or Ryan Hudson wear our shirt. Their off field antics over shadow any sporting prowess.

More so his general cockiness which eclipsed his actual ability. I laughed so hard the time he was showboating in the in-goal area instead of putting the ball down and his foot slightly brushed the dead ball line. No TRY!

To be honest it must be something about Leeds ¾’s as Francis Cummins and Karl Pratt also had the same affect upon me.

On the strength of the rest of his illustrious career, is it not fair to say he is a player worth having? I assume whenever any Wakey player has punched an opponent in the past it is always with the intent of not causing any pain or injury?

I was trying to imply that some of the reasons that have been given by some 'posters' for not wanting to see a player in a Wakey shirt, are at best a little vague/petty................hence the scratchy head emoticon!!!!!

I personally judge players on playing ability and as a person, not what they have or have not done.

I'll hold my hand up to not liking Terry Newton as an opposition he is a niggley player but you have to admired how he plays his game, pleased he is in a wakey shirt this year also Senior has been mention once or twice and I remember being chastised at wanting to sign him two seasons ago as a second rower, he's still going though isn't he



most players that you would be hated to be in a wakey shirt are the one that have the ability to do some damage take Kevin Penney straight line and he will cruise a way in as will Gareth Hock two different type of players there one with skill and no brains the other well a ball in his hand when he can catch it

Yes Sinfields 4 grand final wins certainly show he has been with some terrible coaching staff

surprised to see Ridell get a mention seems to be a decent bloke, who has had a steady first season in SL. Glad Locky gets a mention by a few, means he is doing his job right.

Since platt and thorman have got more mentions they must be doing there job right as well then?

His job is to be so bad that no other teams want him?

Some players are being selected because they are gash, some selected because they annoy the people selecting them.

If you cannot see what Locky brings to a team then you are looking through very bias glasses.

Platt and Thorman are just poor players.

Personally i dont think frodo is a bad player, he is a very good tackling workhorse, but he doesnt have much in the way of creativity and i think he is overrated by those who think he is more than a tackling machine.

Fair comment certainly of his play for the mid point of his career after his knee injury prior to that he was a good ball handler.

Knee injury set him back but the last 2 years playing in a better side than he has he has opened up to be more creative. His performances against the Kiwis were superb going forward. Without doubt though his defence is the strongest part of his game, and in this department he is top class.
