Thought your lads played really well. But disagree totally with your comment re your lads hearts are bigger, not a fair comment, I wouldn't say it about any youngsters who put in an effort on the rugby field and put thier bodies on the line, week in and week out......Our lads played well but made to many errors in the end. But one thing no one can ever say is we lack heart....Roll on the playoffs should be some good games to look forward to...

Sorry about the interpretation there. In no way did I mean your lads had no heart, in fact every player out there proudly wore a big heart on their sleeve.
I can, however, see how my comment may have come out.
I meant what we lacked in size we made up for in heart.

well I have watched the wildcats play against the top teams saint, wigan, warrington, hull kr, hull at home, bradford, castleford away and to be fair the team the have done well against us was wigan, you have some big lads in today and did well to open up the defense, cas too can play and I think they will be more of a worry than wires, bradford just try to bulldoze their way through, for once the future is bright at belle vue and we should revel in our good fortune, we have to think that we are favorites but will like all games take them as they come

however the player that stood out for me that day was grayston, scored a hat trick, amazing pace and great feet.

We won our game in hand to go Second in the Table tonight v Saints so should we beat Leeds in our final game at Orrell we'll meet you in a Grand Final Qualifier at Belle Vue on the weekend of 19th/20th September.

34-26. We were behind 12-10 at the break but took 11 minutes after the restart to take control at 28-12. That ended Saints play off hopes to boot. Been a heavy rain day here (as I think everywhere in fairness) so it was a good game given the weather.

I notice though Wakefield finish with a "bye" after the Challenge Cup break so when the Grand Final Qualifer comes round they'll have had a whole month off. Not sure if thats a good thing or not.

some lads played tonight in the carnegie 9s and put a good show, the tackles on Aizue was awesome to say they was young lads they didn't allow him to take control, they are in training with the first team the last I heard so will be picking up so hints, no problem with the rest too as a few was strapped up after the game against you last time, just hope we can get a better crowd for them as they deserve it

Won't be able to make that play off game as we're in Kos. for two weeks.

It could be interesting depending on when the reserves play off game is.


Wigan are doing a bit of mixing and matching at the moment, with many of the U18 academy having to play in the reserves due to long term injury of the reserve players.

However if the two qualifying semi finals are an different weekends Wigan should be able to put a stronger team out against yourselves, plus two of the community Lions should be back from their Australian tour.
