He did seem to want to play through injury when he was with us, so it may not have all been the fault of mcnamara. Then again, as Mcnamara appeared not to have shoulders when he played, he might not understand the seriousness of the injury.

I'd take any player that would improve the team and a fit Solomona would undoubtably do that. I think he made a mistake in leaving us for what he thought was greener grass but I suspect he may regret it now.

In short if John Kear wants him I'll go with that and if he doesn't then I'll be happy with that also.

I think he was swayed by money, trotted out the standard "I want to win medals" argument when the carrot was dangled after he'd commited to us, and as far as I'm concerned, can bog off.

This may not be what John Kear thinks, but frankly, I don't care. I'd spend the money on the young kids that are the future of the club and let a team that can pay the salary he will doubtless demand look after his medical bills.

Must say though that old over the hill Aussie guy that I had serious doubts about, has, give the guy his dues delivered.
