| Didn't Wraith and Morgan sign for Cas after long and illustrious careers at Wakey?

| No one would have complained if we'd signed Ward and Joyner and the Beardmores.
I don't care where they come from as long as they are good and consider themselves a Wakefield player when they arrive.

Pantomime season is just around the corner PT, we need to have a villain or two on the scene.
Seriously though, there has been some gash over the years with Price & Sculthorpe top of the list.
Both were pretty good at Cas, especially Pryce who seemed to score against Wakefield every time we played them and Sculthorpe, who had all the attributes to be a top forward, just seemed lazy with a Trin shirt on his back.
Korkidas was the same in the opposite direction
A crowd favourite at Wakefield and seemed to be busting a gut at Wakefield but, Cas fans disliked him with a passion and were chuffed to bits when he went to Salford.

| For a long time we were the ones laughing. Cas paid big bucks for the likes of Richard Goddard and Adrian Flynn.
George Ballantyne was a wrecking ball for us but, I think, picked up a career ending injury early doors.
Boot on the other foot now.

| I would go with Scott Moore we could then move Sio to 13 and that would cover the loss of Washbrook it would also give you another one to moan about

| I am sorry Chissett but you need help and quickly, you are starting to get a little paranoid in your efforts to reply to my every post. Why don't you take some time out and return to trying to rile other supporters because you are wasting your time with me.

Funny that, heard exactly the same story about Dean Sampson many times but never heard it about Ward - think you might be wrong on that one.

If I remember correctly Kev was a promising soccer player in Stanley. He decided to have a game of rugby league with Stanley Rangers & took to it like a duck to water.I played against him a couple of times as an amateur and though he was raw I thought he was class. Why Wakey didn't get him who knows but I think probably there reputation at that time went against them. Quite a lot of promising junior amateur players in the Wakefield area were missed for one reason or another and went on to other top pro. clubs in Rugby League and were very successful.

Both of then were Stanley lads, bur it's the Dean Sampson version I always heard - but I bow to your greater knowledge unless we made the same mistake twice!!

Did not know that - if you'd have asked me to guess a player Ward would have been right at the bottom, doesn't look like a footballer at all.

He certainly didn't when he had finished his Rugby League career.

| Yes this one as been doing the rounds for quite sometime and have no doubt it will come to fruition. It does suggest the end for Godinet because he will not want to play back up to Moore, Howarth and Sio and you rarely carry a reserve half back on the bench. I know Sio can play 13 but it still leaves Moore and Howarth.
A signing we do not require but it appears to follow our current recruitment plan but I hope it is wrong unless we can swap Howarth for him.

| Howarth was bobbins the 1st time round, the second time round he is just as bobbins as the 1st time. Pointless signing. Another example of a Championship player Masquerading in Super League. Scott Moore is slightly less bobbins, but beggars can't be choosers and all that.

| I can see Moore playing 9 and Sio going to 13 the Sio to 13 would offset the loss of Washbrook. Howarth aint a class act but tries and will be a bit part player I would think as for Godinet I like the player but there has not been a rush of clubs for his services. Scott Moore on song is a class above what we have had for a few years at 9 and I'm sure Brian Smith can bring the best out of him.

| There was quite a lot of speculation earlier in the season about Godinet going to Saints.
This was when Godinet was ripping it up but when the second half of his season was blighted by injury, things cooled down, culminating in Saints forking out for Fages.
I hope Godinet does re sign but he also mentioned about going back to the NRL.
