I would like to think Oakwell short time, until Newmarket was ready but at the moment wouldn't like to that we changed our name to the Barnsley Blacks and played in south yorkshire

You wont be in any position to call the shots if negotiating for oakwell, they will have you over a barrel. They will know they are your last chance and act accordingly, that's business.

As much as some from Barnsley may watch while it gives them something to do in the summer, could you really see them following the club up to Newmarket? It'd be a novelty thing - they love their football in the People's Republic - and once it goes, like a travelling circus, they'd soon forget.

If i were a wakie fan i would say Oakwell , Flip the coin Cas at Newmarket or the Keepmoat then id say the keepmoat might be us at Donny and you in Tarn playing NL1 yet who says any of us will get owt??

when oakwell is mentioned, some cas supporters seem to get paraniod about it as if they know that if we dont join them at GH, they are as dead in the water as we seem to be

this oakwell option, or one similar, has to be our plan B, and we neeed a plan B, if only for a negotiating tool, if we are being forced towards GH

For what it is worth. at one of the shareholders meetings a couple of years back it was voted for the club to look at moving to Oakwell as a means of stopping in Super League if necessary.
