With only 6 games gone it really shouldn't be, but how comically bad we have been tonight I can see no other outcome. Cas must be thanking their lucky stars for the presence of Wakefield Trinity this season.

I hate the Friday games anyway, the rules like 6 again have turned the game into a joke as a spectacle and to cap it off we have a team that couldn't break a paper bag, mistakes are beyond acceptable.

Sat in the rain watching that on a Friday luckily I cannot take my grandsons as it's too late for them. I will see my ticket out this season for some of the games. I do commit 6 so will do next year but if it's Fridays then I'm out!

3 of us left before that. At 24 nil I couldn't stand any more and I've 55 years of attending and my brother a similar time. If we're now walking away so disheartened I've simply no idea how this season can actually get going without some major changes and team investment

Tonight the realisation has sunk in, we are done. Yeah we had injuries but so did they. 7 tries in 6 games this season, 8 scoreless halves out of the last 10. It’s embarrassing. Quite simply the scrimping on the squad has come home to roost.

It's obviously disheartening for proper RL folk of 60 years to be leaving early for the first time. Our circle has long termers with the same numbers but you'll be back, it's not a patch on the glory days rugby league that we all know but when you follow RL it's ingrained. SL isn't the be all and end all , we know too well as a HKR fan! Apart from the feel good factor we're currently going through (we might actually try to break up the SL monopoly eventually! Even if the worst happens, the Championship is quite enjoyable. We would know.
The two teams on paper about an hour before kick off was quite surprising. Some gulf!

Props for me next week are Eseh, Whitbread, Battye and Butler. Atoni needs to spend some time in the reserves to get up to speed. The two loan players may as well go back and we use Windrow and Bowes.
