sounds similar to criggs game there last year that finished 6-6 which IMO was the best game i watched all year including wtwc for intensity and attitude.

Think it ended up 28-0 .
Both teams did well , ball handling was very good as it never stopped raining throughout , but the bit more experience showed in the end tbh .
Loving watching ketti though ,where i can just turn up and watch my son play without all the hastle that we get at Crigg . seriously getting balls'd off with it up there at the moment .

can somebody please explain the rules for this weekend ? stanley u12's have heworth on saturday yet we are playing eastmoor in the cup..asked for the game to be postponed but heworth say they want to claim the points and an 18-0 win if we don't play them! i thought that the cup took priority !!!

doesn't it get stupid adults are just using the kids like toys

I totally agree. I'm starting to think that what happens on the pitch is taking a back seat to the pettiness and aggro between teams off it.

utter disgrace from a coaching team whom should know better , may i suggest you get lee or someone to contact hull wyke and see if their scheduled game this weekend is on as heworth are meant to play them in round 2 . you may end up giving the game 18-0 and heworth needed the postponement as well (dont no one say i still don't look after Stanley

All I know is - we were supposed to play Cas Panthers away this Saturday & then cup on Sunday - Cas (brayton) told us they'd be putting in a postponement for for the game cos they are also involved in the cup . Turns out if WE don't put a postponement sheet in Cas get the game 18-0 !!

Is there a number of postponements you are allowed? At this rate the intrim season will finish about the same time the summer season starts.

all sorted, we had to have a postponement in by 21:00 last night which got sent in so all should be sorted now.

i didnt know that ernie and imho that would be very wrong,the onething that people are forgetting here is the welfare of the kids who are been asked to play two games in 24 hrs.

fortunatley when you get two sets of grown ups running things together you can come to a sensible decision like the one between ourselves and crigglestone.

i know the coach at heworth very well and this doesnt suprise me one bit and he should bloody grow up and realise the game is for 11/12 year old boys not 30/40 something coaches.

bit of a mixed day rugby wise,firstly i went to watch st wilfreds v cas high which finished 0-22 still not much cohesion from the cas high team and whilst they are a very strong side on paper they arnt playing has a unit and to be fair the ammount of field and ball they had they should have won much easier.

secondly having to tell 4 kids they havent made the 17 for sunday was one hell of a hard job even though 3 of them were ill or injured,still dont see the logic in only been aloud 17 players for a u12s game but their not my rules they belong to barla but it still didnt make it any easier.

dont envy you there ,tonight 17 get picked from the crigg group why you should be penalised for having a large squad is beyond me its just not fair

crigg lads trained last night , most would of trained today with Ketty high , play tommoz , day off , then play on Monday and Tuesday for Ketty.

heard that Cathy high improved in there next game against Beckett's and hopefully if a few started to get involved in a club they would develop more as they have a good set up.

not nice to hear that someone who had nothing to do with either Cathy high or Ketty high was at the game telling all that would listen whats going to happen to a certain player at a school not involved . i thought the YJL was bad but really . however the player involved as taken it as a compliment.

Stanley 12s V Eastmoor 12s

was probably one of the biggest talking points of Thursdays training , shame we play at same time as most of crigglestone parents would of gone to this i think



i know how many are calling it and i have view on how the game will go but it really is to tight to call and goes to show that maybe a place in the top 6 should be made for stanley r . although looking at eastmoors results they very rarely get hammered in a very tight div1 and a couple of goal kicks here or there and they could be on 4 pts 2/3rd in table ....

i think it will be a 10+ win but i think i may surprise a few with who i think will win . its a no brainer for me

i think im going to have a ride over to stanley in the morning,two very contrasting sides who can both play a bit.i wouldnt dare make any predictions on this game im just hoping its a good game.

some of the Derby's are mate and to say its under 12s rugby or 13s for some or 14s - open age etc the passion is already there on show . as it will be stanley / moor two Wakefield sides about 1.5/2 miles apart .
will be a great game.

tight has drum,ive never known a age group like the u12s for its competative nature.you rarely get a weekend go by where one team or another turns the odds and wins a game you wernt expecting.

some great games been thrown up this weekend in the cup and then their is the league game between east leeds and lock lane which will see the winner at the top of the table.
