churwell should have played toll bar yesterday under 12..we wanted to play, ref said pitch was ok.. toll bar refused to play

funny that 20mins later barla officials turned up to inspect the pitch that was the worst and passed it fit for drig and hunslet warriors to play challenge cup round 1 fixture....great game and a credit to both teams that the decing "golden point" was in the 3rd period of extra time..nearly 110 mins played in a mud bath..well done to both clubs! and toll bar..

our barla cup game U13 is reduced to twenty mins each half, it turned into a mad rush, would rather we played the full hour then extra time, its not much to ask of the kids at that age

this weekend Stanley Rangers u13s have got the task of traveling again to Oulton Rangers, having lost in the league to them 34-4 we have been drawn in the Challenge Cup against the favorites.

in that match at half time we held a lead 0-4, league games run for 30 mins each half as where cup games run for 20 mins each half (due to the chance of extra time) so hopefully we won't run out of steam this time and keep a full side on the field too.

its worth coming to watch as these lads put up a good show last time

missed a few weekends but can't wait for this sat only missed one of the lads games against Normy knights U13s in which they manage a revenge win in another close encounter.

this weekend Dewsbury Moor U13s travel to Stanley Rangers in which will be just as close

also Salford travel to Belle Vue in the reserve grade

thankfully junior rugby is back and cas panthers u11s will play stanley rangers on saturday ko 10.00.

after a month of muddy and wet training the boys are ready to go again for the second half of the season.

Crigg u11's are away at Dewsbury Celtic - a few away 'cos of half term , but a run out nevertheless .
First fixtures 12th march apparently - probably find out the Tuesday before who we're all playing !

change of plan for saturday unfortunatly stanley can only get 10 players together and have had to pull out,luckily for us oulton raiders were without a game and have stepped in has a late replacement.

hope stanley can get some more players in so they can continue to build with what is a already decent standard team.

and heworth have all suffered this. Surprising Lock Lane just keep on getting more n more players

The Ketty thing only affects the open age team tbh . Made me laugh about Mr. Happy - if 2 certain players left , life would be so, so, so easier !
