From what I know, Kirmond is just back in full training but is ill with a virus at the moment, Mason is a couple of weeks away from full fitness.

From what I can gather it was danny offered but last I heard he had not made his mind up. But that was on Wednesday.

It was Raleigh that wakey wanted and Hudds were happy to move but he didn't want to leave. Deal still on the cards in the next week and we are getting one of their up and coming players plus cash. Danny Brough apparently thrown a sicky and will not play on sunday. This is a bit strange as named in squad but may be doing this to push hudds into rushing the deal through.

reading between the lines there appears to be a lot of stock issue quotes and comments from all parties involved. There appears to be certainly one, if not more, sticking points surrounding dannys move to shuddersfield.

I'd say no, think he'll be gone next week. Not privvy to any inside information but I've just got a feeling the club will want this out of the way asap so we can plan ahead and push forward.

Agreed - DB has played his hand/made his bed so he'd better get on with it.
I am sure that JK and Ted have done their bit to keep him but there comes a point where enough is enough.

don't see how he can "throw a sickie", surely the clubs doctors will be able to confirm whether he is ill or not. if he doesn't turn up then wages need to be docked. hope he is there tomorrow and if it is danny b's last game i would like to see him at his best!

Still don't understand how shudds can fit him under the salary cap. Anyone shed any light on this?

Admittedly I am way over in Aussie and don't fully understand ins and outs of Supeleague but I am surprised at talk of Danny Brough not putting in if he is of to another club. He should go and talk to Tronc. Tronc was devastated last year when the idiots at the Cowboys did not offer him a contract. He signed for Wakefield half way through last year.

He then went on to play career best football for the rest of the year. He was our best and most consistant forward with a work ethic he has continued at Wakefield. He made cowboys management look very bloody silly.

These guys are really competitive professional athletes. They should be playing for themselves and their pride in their own ability as well as their mates at training.

I reckon DB would have a blinder.
