Not exactly sure how this works but you would imagine that Glover knew Obst would be leaving as he couldnt get the ''deal'' done in time ... Legals make things more difficult to process but hopefully this deal can be sorted this week and we can keep Murphy ... Another thing to consider is that Glover is aware of the possiblity of relegation and is preparing as such !!?? The club is in a mess - the difference with Celtic is that they know there sl franchise is secure - stinks !!

you are spot on glover knew last week that hull wanted obst and a deal would have been done sooner had obst not dug his heals in and at first turned down a move, but in the end i suppose it was too good an offer to turn down but it goes without saying obst left with a heavy heart.

But the main creditor was the RFL, and it appears that it was agreed prior to their admin that the new owners would take over their main debt ie RFL so the admin did not have to strip the club bare as the other debts would have been secondary to this I would suspect, it been the largest.

That would explain Jeffries omission the other day then. Wouldn't surprise me if we take a youth team to Catalans on Saturday.

Just about had it. Supporting this Club is becoming painful, a pain I can live without.

Looking at the state of our squad I can't see us winning a game this season. If Glover takes over he may have to spend a good few bob to bring players in. However whats the point !

It has been mentioned that the administrators should be the ones making the announcement. How many house sales and such like have been agreed in principle only for them not to go ahead. I thought a little bit of naivety was shown in the announcement on Friday and today's offerings maybe a way of showing who is in charge of the situation. This is herrendous . Surely there must be a ruling saying players cant leave as the process is in for new owners. Fergie and murphy are fantastic this would be a huge blow if they went. A deal was agreed with O'Hara's and Andrew Glover. Surely the price agreed upon included the likes of Obst, Millard, Jeffries?

If i'd done that deal it would have, otherwise no deal.

Mr glover may have made a different deal.

Unless the deal included selling as many assets as possible to lessen the debt and thus the bid price.

Who said a deal was agreed in principle ? Not the administrators....
We may have a case where the offer to the creditors was not acceptable so therefore the only way to make it acceptable is to raise money from the assets, namely the squad.

Would anyone blame Glover if he wanted to renegotiate given today's events? I wouldn't.
