What the hell did we go for 2pts for at the end of the half?
We’re 18 -0 down, what difference would that 2pts have made really?
Should have pumped it into touch and put the biggest up n under up for everyone to chase,
Chance of 4 or 6 pts and maybe go in at 6 - 18 and have something to play for
Even if the kick had gone over 2 - 18 leaves us out of the game

I don't blame Applegarth completely. But he's made questionable decisions ie. Butterworth debut and moving Kaye to 9. A second rower on loan when we were crying out for backs. He also oversaw recruitment in the summer. Albeit, yes he can only work with what he's got in terms of budget and quality.
Mind you if it was up to me Applegarth would still be a coach and Poching and Cummins would still be here. But they were apparently bad for the team.... |
