All I can say is a few people are still working very hard with limited resources to make this work in a balanced way. I don't want to waste the money I've put in, neither do I want a return on it. I just want to try to get us to the new stadium as a super league club

If we want a new stadium we need to make sure we stay within the top 12 next year, if not it will take a while to get back into the top flight.

It's more to do with the fact that he was fantastic in the junior set up, played really well against Saints when called upon last year and then has not been given another chance to show what he can do, especially as one of the players who has had ample opportunities ahead of him has not proved to be in any way irreplaceable.
As I said before, Danny is home-grown, something we need to have in the squad, has shown plenty of heart and ability at whatever level he has been given a chance, but now we are going to lose him because he hasn't been given a decent shot at growing into the team.
I'd be willing to bet that he would also have been a cheaper option than some of the players who are in front of him and if we're looking at value for money then he provides better value IMO.
I can understand why he would want to go, if he knows he won't get a chance no matter how badly the players in front of him perform then what is the point in stopping. I'm just gutted that it has come to this and I think it will prove to be a bad decision long term.

I made that post because I care so much for the great club I have supported for so long.

I think Danny Cowling looks a good prospect. Not sure I'd say he had a bad performance in his last game, somebody on here posted he'd been dropped for 'shooting out of the line' and missing a tackle. Wish I'd a pound for every time a Wakefield player has done that this season! I don't know if he's going or not (I've not read all this thread) but I know he shouldn't be allowed to - unless of course it's his choice - due to lack of opportunity here!

Same here. He was the one Trinity player who looked like he could execute a textbook tackle. If the club are wanting to save on cash then let Lee Smith go and sign up Cowling to replace him.

It was in fact me who said he shot out of the line and he did, more than once but he did it one time and was taken off. I didn't say he was dropped because of that, although he hasn't featured in the squad since.
