| When that big forward from Samoa plays I will dread any team that plays against them especially with a already HUGE pack.

I made a comment to the lad tonight and he couldn't believe it
they was looking for a reason not to give it rather than look to give it, after the no try decision it then went on to show the complete rerun on a different angle only to show a good grounding

I know Snowie, some of the refereeing decisions are already starting to leave a sour taste in my mouth this season. Obviously things do and will get missed on the pitch, but how the hell can they get away with that. Somethings bent when happenings like that are occurring.

| Kyle Amor MOTM, closely followed by James Roby and Luke Walsh.
Saints really do look like the real deal so far.

| Leeds and Huddersfield don't look to shabby either. The first five players on the team sheet for Leeds will rip some teams to pieces this year.

| Major reality check for Salford tonight.
They have some way to go to be certain of top 8, never mind any talk of top 4 or grand finals.
Amor's first spell was superb in both attack and defence and now he is wearing a Saint's shirt, he may get some recognition from MacBanana.
Saints are the early pace setters by a mile, even Shudds and Leeds are some way behind them at the moment.
Some people have had a go at Hock tonight but, IMO he was Salfords best player.

| Saints were a joy to watch last night - some of their full length efforts were awesome. Free-flowing, enterprising and entertaining rugby - great stuff!
Bit of a reality check for Salford; Morley looked jaded, Gleeson was awol, Meli was begging to come off and Timmy had one of his stinkers - and I told you he couldn't kick in play.
At least they now know what level they'll have to achieve to trouble the top 4-6 clubs.

| I think Salford will struggle from what I've seen so far. They were lucky to get a win against us, and giving up an 18 point lead is not a good omen. I understand they laboured a bit in the second half in London, and last night they were just second rate.
Noble will turn them into a steady mid-table outfit but he'll win them nothing. His trademark is workmanlike teams, His Bulls team was just very big blokes plodding up and down a muddy pitch. They never excited me, even though there were people like Pryce in there. His Crusaders team was efficient, given the resources, and he always struggled with Wigan, a club whose fans expected some flair. The main complaint of the Wigan fans seemed to be that it was all a bit boring under Noble. As soon as he left, they became a champion side with pretty much the same players.
That team is not a title-chasing team, let alone a title-winning team. It's a building block, nothing more, and if you think of the youth at teams like Wigan and Saints, it will be years before Salford dominate.
The only question for Salford is how patient Koukash is.
And the new fans will soon get sick of being gridlocked every home game. Putting the kick-off back twice now to get 7,000 fans in?

That was bull poop....did you see the Sky TV footage at 7.50 when Eddie stated that although there were thousands already in the ground there were even more queueing outside ??? The cameras then went to the concourse outside and showed about fifty folk walking long the concourse !!!!! There were NO QUEUES WHATSOEVER....what are Salford playing at, as I understand it was exactly the same for our game ??????

Our crowd against them was a record 7,102. They were bigging up last nights game and saying it should be a new record yet only managed 6,353.
I'm assuming that Saints took a few as it's not a huge distance to travel so what happened to the new found optimism that was there? Salford fans not expecting to win?
I know it was a Thursday night and was on SKY but it's not like it was a cross pennines trip, plus Salford had a chance to go top if they'd won so where were the missing fans?

More saints fan in the bell end than we took, so less Salford fans turned out.

Marwan Koukash could become the new Ken Davey; throwing good money after bad at a team that the local populace, for the most part, ignores.
It must be a worry for the fans - he does not project the image of a patient man and I think that this season will demonstrate that you can't buy success in RL; his petulant outbursts about the governing body and other clubs holding the game back will soon wear thin and if he continues to not get his way, who knows what he'll do.

| Salford should be using this season as a transitional one, a season where they can rebuild there previously poor brand, push to increase what were pitiful crowds and build a competitive side on the field. Not sure the mad doctor feels the same but they were the wooden spooners last year for gods sake, they aren't going to turn into title winners, or even genuine contenders, overnight. But the fawning over the 'Devilution' by the sky muppets last night was sickly, I think Phil Clarke and Eddie Hemmings must be on the doctors payroll they drool about them that much. Noble will make them solid through the course of the season and they won't be miles off the 8, maybe even sneak in with some good luck and some failings from others. But challengers? No chance for a couple of years at least.

| Yep they totally overdid the 'devolution' thing, whereas our game against Bradford was very low key presentation with the word relegation used over and over again.
Fair enough it was a poor game , but their job should be to build up the game to entice any new veiwers to watch again and maintain the interests of neutral viewers. There was just constant negativity,Carney and Wells excepted.
