I don't blame this group of players for not being good enough and...against the unanimous decison of the blog, I don't blame Kear for the place we are at now. As I said above, I don't think any coach, including The Lord God Almighty, could make a team out of this group.....THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This is obvious, They are almost all past their best &/ or Championship quality. We have almost no decent players left; they've all been sold couresy of the Richardson legacy. I think a lot of calming down and taking stock needs to be done by Wakefield fans to be honest

Think you make a good point there, at the beginning of the season, or at least a couple of weeks in, on paper I could not see us winning a single game with the players we had, we won a few and I think the spirit of the takeover got a few people overly giddy, since then wer have had hickey and semi sign, after losing popular players like obst and to a lesser extent jefferies.

These players had to be a success, and ok semi has a bit of time but so far hickey has failed, on paper we are still probably the worst team in SL, as we were at the start, only now we are playing like it.

absolutely disagree that the players are not good enough, the fact is that they are not fit enough and not organised enough.

this is why when fergie arrived at hudds straight out of our first team he was told he was 4 weeks away from being fit enough to play for them.

whether they are good enough, only time will tell. personally i reckon once they get some decent coaching,most of them will go on to make good players.

are you the guys that the old ladies gave an handbagging to for slagging the players. they were really fiesty old dears. could have done with them on the edges today. thats where most of our problems were before it blew out

I went, said after the game think I'll only be going to the home games that are left and to be honest thats only because I've got a season ticket. Glad I didn't pay to watch that, probably worst display by any team since the start of super league

The players could spend less time in Nandos and Costa Coffee and spend more time down the gym doing extras!

he went ok. our biggest problems were on the edges. griff had a shocker. hickey seemed a little better today imo, a long way to go yet though. think he will do well next year.got to give big respect to the fans that went today. didn't hear any abuse or whining. i suppose like me they were gutted and just wanted to get home

I went to KR today, the players werent up to it and it doesnt really help when some of our fans were falling out amongst themselves either tbh.

We've had a couple of good wins and all of a sudden people seem tot hink we are world beaters. I agree with everything you've put there.

If that is true then that shows that the coaching staff have lost the plot. No wonder Hickey is still not fit enough if we are only trained 3 times a week.

My Saturday league football team used to train twice a week.

If SL was a 10-15 minute game would we be in the top 4? Where would we be in the league on 1st half scores?

Crap sides don't lead most games early on. Unfit sides give up good starts.

So Kear is seemingly letting both the confidence and fitness side down.

Luke George was the only player who IMO tried through out the game,well done Luke.I knew it was going to be a bad day when the coach failed to turn up and we had to share cars,thanks to all that drove,fitness seems to be the problem.If they had to get up at 4.30 in the morning for a shift down pit I could understand,but not when you are getting paid to keep fit.All this said,I will still be there next game and the one after that and so on.

Like George has been a massive improver this season and really needs to join a better club.

Thank god I went to the cricket instead, sounds to me like the team have given up. I shudder to think what Saints & Wigan will do to us in the coming weeks.

I went, and, in the interests of spreading the WT gospel took a friend......He wont be watching again in a hurry!! Even worse than the Quins game and that was bad!
Also bailed out @ 60 not having left before the end at any time this season before Sundays debacle. I will be missing Saints game for family reasons so hope my depleted spirit is recovered enough to face wigan in a fortnight.
