19 I suspect as it says same team as last week. TBF Hirst has had 3 decent games in a row, would seem harsh to drop him though I'm not convinced he has a full season in him.

Agreed - if told to run hard and stop trying to offload, he looks a lot better.

I don't mind him offloading but like so many of these sort of players he doesn't seem to know the appropriate moment. If he loses it in the opposition 20 I can live with it especially if its late in the tackle count but Hirst does tend to attempt is in our 20 or at least he appears to - brown trouser time.

If England is fit then it would be sensible to get him back in the team. He is a notch above Hirst.

No it won’t. We have no more injuries than anyone else, it’s just. Feeble excuse. Yes we’ve lost a potent part of our side in TJ especially but it happens. Cas lost their play maker at the start of the seaon but sit in third, players step up.

I’m personally sick to death of this lame excuse - we start the season boasting that we have strength in depth yet when forced to use it some on here wet themselves.

Arundel is a good centre, whilst the functioning forwards we have are all good enough if they want to be. With a squad of thirty players we should be able to adjust, certainly until players return no need for excuses.

England and Lyne looked to have come off the worst. Miller and Wood looked less so. Although you never know, sometimes the innocuous looking ones can turn out worse.

Chezzy was not happy with Wigan attacking the knees and ankles,he described it as very naughty

Joe Arundel has shown how to step up, he's not let us down since he came in, in fact technically he's a better centre than Bill.
It's up to the others in the squad to pull together now and I'm sure no matter what team we can muster for the Cas match they won't let us down.

Tough one to take that, certainly come at a cost with Easter just around the corner. I don’t expect any of the 4 to play next week with the short turnaround. I certainly wouldn’t be rushing them back at this stage of the season. We have cover in the forwards / halves but losing Lyne and Wood is a blow, especially with Randall not quite ready. I thought with McShane out Wood would be crucial if we are to get a result at Cas. It’s a good job we have depth this year or I’d be certainly worried that’s for sure

Well Powell told me personally that he blamed Taylor and said the same player injured McShane with another very naughty tackle. Must admit I was surprised as I didn't have Taylor down as that sort of player. He just seems to be a poor mans Liam Watts.
