the biggest season of missed opportunity in the super league era- we only have ourselves to blame- we were not able to close out about 5 games we should of won - the last 2 when the season was on line were the worst.....

He bumped into a Salford player had he bumped into a Wigan player then Warmsley could have seen a red card.

Saying that Warmsley plays for Saints so I suppose we have to settle for a review.

Cant help feeling shattered though. Im not dissapointed one bit im very proud of the team and everyone involved I just cant help thinking weve had an amazing opportunity this season. A little bit more luck and we would have all been dreaming....

A little off topic but I think with all the uncertainty about the ground this season, being tipped for bottom 4 (again) and having the smallest budget, I don't think anyone has cause to complain.
If you want us to be on the right side of those fine lines, get down and get a season ticket, don't make excuses not to.

Liam Watts incident was never a sending off, but two wrongs dont make a right. When Walmsley was initially going into collision, he appeared to go in with the palm of his hand. That is legal.

Lets hope Cas have left out too many players tonight and Hull get the win. If not Saints could be playing Leeds. This would be much easier for them.

From what I saw of Saints last night they will really have to raise their game to compete with Cas.

Although Saints won the game easily in the end, Salford were the better side until they had a player red carded and if anything, they just struggled to control their aggression.

.. Saints are the only team to beat cas at their place this season..i...don't be so sure!

Could not fault Salfords attitude last night. They were on the wrong end of the penalty count in first half that gave Saints 75 % possession.

tbf, Salford never gave themselves a chance.
you have to stay in these types of games, instead they slowly worked themselves out of it.
Saints, whilst nothing like the team they used to be, are no mugs, they know how to turn the screw without looking like World beaters, and Salford just couldn't respond with all that dropped ball and penalties.
Saints are the weakest of the final 4, I expect them to fall at the first hurdle, the codheads aren't all that either so there's gonna have to be some twisty turns for them to get anywhere.
