Seriously though I thought he signed a three year contact last season. I read HKR were sniffing around earlier in the year and I would be disappointed if he were to be released. He clearly wasn't fit at the start of the year but has gone well when given a chance recently.

We need to keep him especially if Southern does leave and if Ali gets a long term injury.

He signed a two year deal in may 2011 which i took as this season and next but apparently Agar was quoted in the RLE this week saying he was occ and playing for a new deal. He should be given one for me but i've a feeling he isn't one of Agars bule eyed boys.

i reckon we definately need to sign this kid up! seems to be fairly consistant and try hard whenever he plays. If Agar doesn't sign him it's a mistake...we need someone of his size and strength for when (as mentioned already) big Ali is injured.

Hes not playing for a deal Agar words things like he has something against this kid. Since Frankie has come back from injury he has not let us down hes a top young british 2nd rower I don't want to lose players like this but yet we will probably keep Southern on good money we need to bin him off and keep Frankie !

I hope we can sign Frankie up, in fact i can't see why not but we do have a few front rowers and we can't keep them all i suppose.

Been posted many times on here that he was injured on and off for the first half of the season, someone I know spoke to him personally and said as much.

Gave us some good go forward against Leeds, gave a few penalties though. I thought he was signed up but if not get him sorted.

I think Bren but dont quote me on it hes on about the fact Agar said now Frankie is back in the side he has to prove hes worth another contract as told to the press days ago.

The guy played well the other night and has been given a place in the squad when fit, chill a bit NGB4C, he's got his 2 year contract let's see if he can cement a permanent place in the side these last few games of the season then you won't get your knickers in a twist in the winter months. Like all players a regular place has to be earned with consistently good performances, Agar isn't gonna let him go is he if he keeps up his decent form ?

Vastman cannot read obviously Agars interviews allways states the negatives towards him read the post properly please !. This year on the occassion he has preferred Trout to Frankie. We didn't miss trout one bit today. Its frustrating as a wakefield fan we will keep Steve Southern and get rid of Frankie. Once again for the hard of thinking (you) - Mariano started the season injured and hasn't been fit to play until recently; that gave Trout a chance and he's taken that chance well - a young player breaks into the first team by the way, exactly what people said wouldn't happen under Agar.

Doesn't Mariano still live in Hull? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if he's signed at KR.
