I thought he had a good game however having watched the sky coverage I have no idea where he got Millard for offside which led to HKRs second try.

I also thought that Welham did a good job of milking the penalty and Danny Brough's sin bin.

and there was no holding murphy down on his break was there? well done to the ref tonight again, will be watching the sky coverage soon but there was no moaning about the standard of reffing tonight from behind the sticks ..

i thought a couple of marginal decisions went against us first half but overall i like his control of the game and doesn't give "trivial" penalties like alot of the refs seem to do.

I'm glad the video ref decision at the end didn't make a significant difference - I thought we were held up but the video ref saw different - the same video ref that the Hull KR coach slagged off publicly last season - no karma though I'm sure

Mr.Child has also been praised for his performance on the Hull K.R board.
As Wakefield keep winning when he officiates I hope to see far more of him as the season progresses.

I also thought Child had an outstanding game. Maybe he missed 2 forward passes but that was it. Called it well although I thought Thaler's benefit of the doubt was incorrect, even if it was for our benefit.

I know of some Rovers fans complaining about the ref but I think they must be closet Rhinos. Child was excellent and I will welcome him every week.

we were all convinced about troncs last try behind the posts, unfortunately it is dificult with side on shots but it was deffo a try. i have just watched the game again and mr childs did a superb display .. just as his performance against leeds i think that this young man is doing a very good job.

I watched it on TV and as a neutral I thought he was fantastic. Great to see him give tries without going to the VR every single time.

Thought that was the best reffing i've seen this season. Great positioning to allow Blaymire's try without needing the VR who I thought was wrong to give the last Tronc try but ah well it just rubbed salt into HKR fans wounds lol. Glad for some of you guys on here and Kear that the Wildcats turned it around from last week although it was kinda funny to hear Blaymire after the game say that after winning 4 from 6 so far this season that they could have won a couple of more games

pains me to say this as at the start of the season i considered him no up to standard but child's as improved greatly he upset the leeds fans but had a similar match, log may it continue

So far so good. Thought he had a good match last night.

A few decisions (offsides & HKR holding down in the tackle) but other than that I thought he was outstanding.

He missed a shed load of forward passes and forgot both teams could be offside, markers not square and why should they if they can get away with it.

Other than that he did a good job

Think he had another excellant game. Some of our so called star refs should watch how he ref's games and learn from him.

Another very good game from him. Didn't agree with the Brough sin binning as don't think the tackle was complete. That said if a professional foul is a sin binning what happened last week?

You couldn't cope with 13 on the pitch. Do you think he would have had the heart to reduce you by even more?

Had he had the heart to bin a couple of Hudds players we might have kept you to under 50!

Best referee i have seen this season. One or two little things he let go but i think he got all the biggies correct. Not bad from a child.

he did ok,
kept a very skinny 10 metre line though, took no back chat (unfortunatly) got most of the big decisions right too.
