We walked back to sugar lane with a lot of Wakey fans and it was really strange. Not upbeat but almost subdued as if in shock. I was nervous before the kick of but soon starting to enjoy an exceptional performance and have to say the try by David Fifita absolutely made my day.

I felt sick all morning with nerves for the game after feeling anxious all week long. The thought of it possibly going down to the Hudds game was so stressful.
Still in shock myself after the fantastic performance the boys put in and I don't think any team would have beat us today. The entire team were superb both in defence and attack and played some seriously smart rugby today.
Atmosphere was fantastic too.

Exactly how I felt.

The defense was first class. Copy book tackling. None of this grabbing at shirt collars that we have seen a lot of lately. I don't particularly remember any "missed" tackles today.

Their second try was a bit grabby. Can't blame a little unfocused second at that score line.
Their first was just a straight up good well worked try.

Already watched it 5 times this morning. Lovely stuff. Just gives the impression of an unstoppable steamroller or a tidal wave.

One of those days when everything works - and we looked absolutely unbeatable as a result; notwithstanding that Hull were absolute pish.

Jowitt, Ashurst, Miller, Hampshire and Lyne were standouts for me - and Big Dave running the slowest 40 metres in recorded history was one of my favourite ever moments at BV; his big daft grin was a joy to behold. Also good to see Pauli finally go full Hulk and actually smash some people up.

Credit to the Hull fans too - massive turnout, and they took the banter in very good spirits; although I gather the sun got to a couple and there was some codhead on codhead violence?

What a day. What a performance. I was so nervous yesterday that I still wasn't comfortable until half time. Now we can go into the final games without any fear and play to our strengths.

It was reminiscent of when Tim Smith used to orchestrate similar moves.

Agree with the comment re Jowitt try, absolute class and a joy to watch, Rocky at his joyous best - magic . So much to admire in that try.

That was very reminiscent of the 62-0 Wigan thrashing...what an absolutely brilliant performance from the whole 17 man squad.
Everything we tried came off and the Codheads looked like rabbits caught in the headlights.
Superb effort boys.....Shudds and Super 8's here we come
