1533 two months before Christmas four months before start of season with all the negative publicity that has been around the recently is good going.

Given they were put on sale earlier this year in a desperate bid to raise some cash and we need double the amount currently sold to be able just to be able to cover the players we currently have then I am concerned that numbers will finish well down on last year. There maybe a spike around xmas but the fact that there has been a major slowdown in sales coupled with the fact that the price of a gold membership rises in a fortnight makes me think that any undecided fans will give it a miss.

I think you're right mate.
Excluding paydays, which give people the best chance of affording a S/T, there are 2 more big opportunities to push sales.
Christmas is the obvious one and the club MUST be working on their plan to maximise Christmas sales and after that there is the star of the new season and we need to go for something like "Six weeks to go" and then 5,4,3,2,1 as the new season draws closer.
Maybe a new shirt and S/T deal or something similar in the run up to Christmas ? - we certainly need to be trying to ensure that when the masses go in to the shop to pick up their new shirts, they must be encouraged to sign up for S/T's and if the players are back in for pre season training, maybe their presence would encourage more people to sign up.

Definately. Although it sounds like the Cockayne to Hull KR deal is very close to completion so to the casual observer and floating fan when that news hits it is unlikely to help matters.

Really hope that counter has moved on a bit this week. Been good to see how pro active the club have been at pushing for sales on social media. A big push in the local colleges and six forms could boost the sales with the young persons offer too.

Would have thought with it being payday for many around last weekend and the price increase from tomorrow there would have been a decent amount sold this last week. Bar maybe a little spike before xmas they might slow from now though.

Really hoped we'd have been well over 2,000 by now. If we're averaging 30 a week then we're only likely to have 2,000 ST holders! That's an absolutely huge drop! We need the club to be pushing sales

I think the price rise from tomorrow will see a slow down even if the club push it. The tickets were way too cheap, we know that. But those floating fans that jumped on board when they were £100-£120 and we were signing good quality, well known player are unlikely to part with twice as much whilst we are selling our best players and signing nobody. Problem is if we need 3000 to run at the budget we have now then others will have to go if we don't get near that first target.
