Surely Lonsdale or Golddiagga would be better choices.

Building on that, have a scheme where full match videos, exclusive interviews, press conferences, new signing presentations e-programs and radio commentary for games not broadcast on Radio Leeds (for people who cannot make it to games) can be accessed on line for an annual fee of say £50 a year (It could even be broke down to a fiver a month with 2 months free).

It may be a large initial outlay to get such a system set up and running but with the way entertainment is going people want instant access to material with little effort getting it. Getting 2000 or so supporters to sign up to this would bring in a further £100k a season. DVD’s of the games could still be posted out to subscribers along with a signed photo of the man of the match from that game.

Half hour free weekly/fortnightly audio podcast covering all things WTW (interviews etc) available to download from itunes/stitcher etc and instead of/aswell as dvd's downloadable files or video podcasts of games - its the 21st century after all and i would imagine fairly cheap to do.

The players could sell their 'little fellas' to local 'banks'???

Any other sign up incentive schemes out there similar to Foxy Bingo, get a whole raft of them in?

Get the dolls to remove clothing as sales targets are reached eg if we sell 4000 season tickets / 500 Foxy Bingo / number of new lottery sign ups then nude photos of the dolls will be posted, various degrees of undress can be posted on the way to reaching above targets. I am sure this will generate plenty of activity.

Fair point, this IP address issue has been mentioned before, but why should that be a problem? Each person would be an individual with an email, home address, phone number and card details and, if they pay their tenner, why should it matter which computer they used to sign up? You could imagine Foxy bingo themselves doing such a promo.

Not everyone wants their house full of rugby kit or memorabilia but for example buying a new TV or Xmas presents via Argos on line etc would send money into Trinity coffers through easy fundraising.org.

How easy is it for Trinity to release a credit card with an affiliated financial company? Everytime its used the monetary rewards that would usually go to user would go to the club instead.

We did a deal with the Barnsley BS a few years back.

How about a fundraiser day in the off season?

Ex Wakey players V Ex rest of the league players.
Face paints etc for the kids.
Bars open, food on sale, merchandise on sale.

So many great ideas - and so many of them tried - badly!

Every good idea the club has started has ended with them just petering out, or worse still, in acrimony with the companies involved.

I'd rather they did a small amount of deals and do them well, rather then taking on too much once again!

Absolutely right, there's no point in spitting in the wind.
We should be carrying out all tasks in a professional manner and seeing them through.

Although we need to look at the long term, right now we need effort vs reward to try and drag as much income into the club as possible.
There are some excellent ideas on here but, we do need some additional income quickly.

The makers of Yorkshire tea based in Harrogate have been seeing profits rise year on year they maybe willing to offer some form of sponsorship, Typhoo sponsor Saints. Just a thought

Darts or snooker exhibition night in Cats? Easy enough to organise (darts easier than getting a snooker table in obviously), get people to pay against a pro, auction of merchandise, photos taken with the pro? Get the players involved as well. I've been to a few of them, and they're good fun and get the punters in. Know a guy who organises them too.
