| 1979 for me, as a 9 yr old - went with a neighbour who was a rabid fan and who still stands in the same place.
I don't remember the game; I do remember being petrified though - it was the biggest crowd I'd ever stood in and there were lots of scary blokes shouting.

| First started watching the mighty Trin in 1971.Can't remember my first game (senile!) but do remember playing the New Zealand tourists in, i think, my first night match.I got the goalkicker Henry Taranti's? tie ups.In those days it was ok to go on to the field at the end of the game.Happy days! Feel honoured to have seen some real legends over the years. I have to say though that the atmosphere in the ground with the North stand is as good as i've ever experienced.

| You lot must be really old
Mine was Bradford as recently as February 2008. We won (26-24?) and it was Danny Brough's debut. I only went to watch the girls in the Wildcat Kittens and was hooked.
...and I'm really old as well

| Was 86 for me think was Saints at home we got stuffed but enjoyed. Had gone to some games watching other teams previous to this Went to Kangaroos V Leeds at Headingley watching them totally outclass Leeds was really enjoyable. Also went to some midweek games at Cas (I know naughty naughty). I remember the 25 - 20 win against wigan Julian Russell in the corner (Worked at milners with my older brother). Think attendance was either 8973 or 9873 or there abouts.

| I can't remember mine either but remember the opposition and around 1973 or 74, it was definitely Leigh at home, taken by my dad who of course had seen all the glory years. We definitely won easily 32 - 6 or something close to that score, I'm sure someone can enlighten me on the exact information, wish I'd kept a record of every game now, so many wonderful memories and even better my boy is hooked too just like I was so he'll also be able to look back with fondness supporting our wondeful team.

| Wow you guys are old.
2002, last game of the season. Wakefield v Warrington. 50 - 10 win and a pitch invasion. All in all, quite enjoyed my day out with my brother and kept on coming back until moving to Devon made it difficult to get to games Only been to a handful in the past 4 years.

| First game in SL against Cas. A 14-12 loss i think, but it was a real pleasure watching the Cas fans squirm as the new boys who had no chance put up a hell of a fight. Two late Danny Orr penalties won it for Cas.

| My dad took me to my first game in 1988, we beat Warrington 14-10. The two things that I remember from that day are Steve Ella and the winger with the girl's name!

| Quote ="JINJER"Not very original but I was bored this morning, what was the first Trinity game you ever attended? This makes me feel older than. Mine was Trinity V Australia touring side, a midweek game, October 3rd 1973!
'"
I was at that game. Toppo had a blinder as I recall. My first game I couldn't honestly say as I was about 7 or 8. The first one i can recall was a RL challenge cup tie v Wigan with a very big crowd about 1971. We won something like 5-2 or 7-5. Went on to lose 10-5 to Leeds in the 3rd round at Headingley, which my Dad also took me to, before they went on to Wembley against Leigh or St Helens depending on whether it was 71 or 72. I became hooked!

| And how about your favourite match? If we take the 79 cup semi and 98 grand final as givens, after that I would have to say Cas to stay up...can there ever have been a better atmosphere or such an epic and important moment in the club's history? I think it was literally S or bust for the club potentially that night. Would we ever have got back from a drop down. Possibly not. I'll never forget it as long as I live!

| In the late 70's I used to watch Cas and Fev cos I had mates who played for them and I played a bit of lower league stuff myself. First saw Trin cos I went to Whitwood Tech with a lad called Nigel Murray who played for Wakey; am sure they were playing Fev cos one of my other mates was playing for them. Think that would be early 80's. By 83/84 was going regularly; I particularly remember a cup match against Wigan who were full of superstars. As expected, we lost but gave a good account of ourselves.
Dropped out for a few years, early 90's onwards cos was skint but started back again in early 2000's

| Favourite game has to be the Cas game to stay up. Originally wasnt going to game, skint etc, but entered a comp in YEP two days before to win pair of tickets, didnt think had a chance. Got a call from YEP sports editor on the Friday before game - "congrats you have won two tickets - pick em up before game.
Took eldest son - his first ever Trinity game. He loved it, especially when players went on lap of honour after game and Korki shook his hand! Had a spell away from going but have really got back into it in last few years - as kids get good cheap deal on season tickets through school - and my adult ticket is great value as well.
Youngest son first game - Hull home about 3/4 years ago, friday night on SKY i think. His school had purchased two season tickets and they had a draw in assembly end of every week and if your name came out you won the tickets - for the main stand - none of this having to stand up malarkey! He won it towards end of school term, and it meant he got the last two home games of the season!

| Some great memories there .... I went to many of them!
My first match was Leeds at home in 1972-73, but the first one I remember was Blackpool at home in the Players No.6 Trophy the season after. They won 47-14 and my Dad took me to see Neil Fox play. He dislocated his collarbone and as he was carried off, my Dad said 'savour the moment, youve just seen a superstar, he might never play again'. He ended up playing another 8 years.
Memories, after 1979 was Wally's debut in 1984, Australia in 1990, Wigan at home (25-20 win in 198icon_cool.gif but a big one was an 18-10 away win at Halifax in April 1987. Trevor Bailey was coach and Halifax were the Champions and on their way to Wembley. Trinity were bottom of the league and relegated already. Paul Mallinder was sent off, Johny Lyons was sin brined and beat the Champions away with 11 men

According to the Trinity Programmes site then I guess it was one of these two
1973/74 9 Dec 1973 Home Leigh League 26 8 Won
1974/75 28 Sept 1974 Home Leigh John Player 44 10 Won
What a great source of information that website is!

| First game, York away 1965 with my grandad, lunch in the Griffin and over the road to catch the bus.
Games to remember;
Huddersfield away November 1967, again with grandad but his last game before his death.
Hull away 1981 winning 5-2 to go top of the league
Leeds away Easter Tuesday 2005,only went because I'd been arguing with the wife. We'd had a crap season and a thrashing looked on the cards but guess what; the mighty Trin gave them a hell of a beating.Never mind Cas, they're still the buggers to beat.
