I'm sick of the level of defeatism on this board! The decision has not been announced yet and we can choose to be like sheep and follow all the pathetic reporting of our future as if it is already mapped out for us. It is not over yet and all of us on here know we are certainly not the weakest application; in my view there are 3-4 weaker than ours.

I have a letter from the RFL at home dated just over a month ago saying a "decision has not already been made". Okay, none of us trust the RFL, me included. No formal announcement has been made yet and until the time the decision has been announced I will not take our fate as a foregone conclusion.

Wherever we are next season I will continue to follow Wakefield Trinity. I've followed them from the early 80's and know the highs and lows. I've seen promotion and relegation and demotion. For me demotion is the worst feeling of the three and if I feel that again in 2 weeks time then my rage towards the RFL will increase further.

I love Wakefield Trinity. I do not love this nonsense of a process we are in which has been a factor in our current playing plight.

£150 for a three year season ticket if 4000 members sign up then. I concede the lack of detail regarding where the club will play in the interim may be an issue but its worth looking into all the same.

If it were a matter of choice, I may consider walking away, but like others, I have no choice.

My support of Wakefield Trinity RLFC will get stronger as i know AG and the board are working very hard to get our great club back to being best RL club in the country what ever happens on the 26th

For me its game over, I can’t continue to financially contribute to such a corrupt game. My sense of injustice will be so strong that I just can’t bring myself to be involved. The fact that no real route back to the elite exists makes it a no go for me.

After 30 year of watching us mostly struggle, what kept me coming back is the hope that things would come together and one day the good times will be back. The franchise system and Rimmer/Lewis/Wood delusional dreams of expansion have killed that. We are the sacrificial lamb for there pipe dream just like we was in 1995. I don’t mind admitting now that I want the game to fail and die a death, it’s nothing more than it deserves.

Go back to watching games in front of 1500 crowds, Wakefield full of Rhino shirt wearers..been there seen it. It wasn’t pleasant I’ll go back to watching Leeds United at least the dream is still alive there!

Im in a very strange place with it all at the moment in that i think I would find t harder if we do stay up!
i really have lost all intrest in SL at present, and my honeymoon period of the beginning of the season has ended too, Im sort of removing my blinkers and realising we cannot sustain a SL club with the paying fan base the people of wakefield supply, dont think Newmarket is the answer either to be honest, lets face it we need a huge injection of cash to get a competative team, and without that Newmarket will be as empty as BV will be for next few weeks.

I have become very disillusioned with the Super League and more so with the RFL. I will still follow and support my club through hell and high water. Like many other people I have followed this club for years before Super League and will do after Super League (as we know it now) is long gone.

Why is everyone so pessimistic. All people are doing is listening to other fans and the media. As I've said before what will be will be but there is no way we are definitely down yet. Let's wait for the decision, as they say it's a funny old game and we may yet be doing somersaults in just over two weeks time

I bought a T shirt in the club shop a couple of weeks ago, it says on it "Wakefield Till I Die".
That's the way it's gonna be.

I'll still follow the boys and go to local derby games and CC games. If Kear is still in charge I might just buy the club shirt and occasional memorabilia. Either way I'll always contribute.

I know I'm in the very small minority but I believe we will be in SL next year so its a question I'm not even going to consider.

I may look stupid a week on Tuesday but I will not even contemplate anything until then.

I have supported Wakefield Trinity since the age of 9 and will continue to do so whatever league we are in. If we are in the lower league I will have no interest in SL at all. The reason being there are at least 3 teams with less to offer than ourselves, one being bank rolled by the RFL and who are not paying players! Richard Lewis and Nigel Wood have made our game a laughing stock by persisting with expansionism, even though it is not working at Crusaders or Quins. We are a sport that manipulates decisions to get the answer that it wants. I have never felt as dispondent as I do now, not because we might be in a lower league, but because of how the decision will be made.

I have supported WT in lower leagues before and will do again. if we go down that will be twice we have been demoted without finishing bottom. How can that be fair.

We would be causing more harm to our club than to the RFL by walking away.
THe RFL can't lose which makes it all the more gauling.
As much as I want to see my club at the top level, I want to be able to take my little lad in the future more.
As much as I believe if we go out we will never come back, the swings and roundabouts of the game decrees, the RFL will soon need a new whipping boy and if our house is in order we might just get another sniff.
As much as I detest the way SL is run, I want to see the RL playing youth of Wakefield play for their club at the top level.
As much as I'm sometimes bored and frustrated by the way we play, I'll miss seeing my mates too much.
My head tells me to walk away but my heart has always lead my head, so for all the reasons I have listed above I'll stay and fight for our club, come what may.

if we do get the boot, i will still take up the same spot i have taken for pretty much every game for the last 30 years.

i am a wakefield trinity supporter, who the opposition are does not really matter to me.

but.

i will not put one more penny the way of the rfl.

the sky will be cancelled
i will not attend another superleague game
i will not attend another international game
i will not attend another challenge cup final
i will not attend another grand final.

all of which i have done every year.

the rugby league family is not what it used to be.

I've been that way for some years owd cock! I've never seen a SL game live. I don't have sky and I will not support SL or the National team in any way shape or form! Because of their SL bias I stopped taking the Leaguer and the League Exp!

Difficult one as I love my club but week on week my love for rugby league is dying and that is purely down to the way it is run. I'd love to think i'll be there next season but right know I just don't know. One thing is for sure is that any money of mine will not be going to support the RFL through internationals, grand finals etc.

Best thing I can say is ask me again in January.
