I really hope that the new commercial manager or someone from Rapid doesn't come on here to see the response to this thread. I think that especially in the current circumstances that we have done very well to get any sort of sponsor for the ground and this should be applauded. They are a well known brand (locally), and one that WTW should be happy to be associated with. We should embrace some posotive news for a change and ingnore the trolls who try and spoil it....

The Aquatics Centre is by far the more impressive structure and I do predict that will be the iconic image, structure and legacy building of 2012. The Velodrome is also very a nice looking structure and will be the first venue to open.

Agree 100% this is something to be pleased about, a new company investing in the club, at times like these we have to focus and promote the positives.

We will perhaps get a daddy warbucks to pay it for us and then take the moral high ground pretending the club paid for it.

Please point me to the evidence of where the club claimed to have paid the latest tax bill? It started off as an unnamed benefactor and was then subsequently announced as Rodney Walker.

As for your comment about hudgells financial input - please get real. You will never be able to pay them back so whilst they may be classed as loans in your R&A they are to all intents and purposes gifts
