I'm sure you know what crying off means or pulling out of a game if that's easier. As for the former player I was talking to it would be unfair to name him on here as he is still connected to the club. He told me he had heard that Mason would pull out on Friday and it looks like he was right. So we will just after wait and see what reason WP gives for Mason not playing.

It's clear Mason is recovering from injury was upbeat with fans at Halifax. If WP is not happy playing players not 100% then he gets my vote. Last night's effort although a loss did much more for club and it's wider squad with a lot of local lads giving it a good go. I thought Batch at centre was very good playing out of position. Our halves held their own and more and the pack gave it a good go. Some poor plays and poor decisions aside by the team and ref we could have seen a different result. Oh and Corey Hall that kid has got class written all over him 19 years of age what a prospect

On Miller, we have to accept that he is probably past his best. His passing game is very predictable, and offers little creativity as a halfback.
In his defence, as has been said he gives his all and puts his body on the line week in and week out. I would like to see him have a go at hooker.
But in the halves I think both Gaskell and Walker offer more.

Please get your facts right it was last Sunday evening when Mason said what he did and there were several other players plus Kyle Wood there. It was a week later on Friday morning when I spoke to the former player in town. I asked him if he new anything regarding Mason and he said he was in the squad but he had an inkling he would drop out on Friday. So there you have it and as I said before I don't make things up and I don't tell lies but if you don't want to believe me that's your prerogative but I honestly tell you that's what happened. I'll still be at St.Helens Friday

Willie had already said he wasn't ready, as you back up by saying Lino wasn't happy that he wouldn't play him yet.

If Lino isn't happy that Poaching won't play him yet, doesn't that imply he wants to play?

Why does an ex player know what Willie is thinking? All it means is he heard he's still not playing. Doesn't mean Lino is sulking and dropping out.

Think it is about time the club came on and put this to bed one way or the other . The subject is J Miller but most of the post are about Lino .Maybe fans will think it's a over reactions ,but when Lino comes back and started slow fans could think he wants away. Would protect both parties
